    I went to my local Good Guys, the best price the sales guy could do was $1100, I told him my friend got it for $950, he said $950 is impossible then I showed the Goodguys invoice, he said it might be special black friday price, cant get it today. I asked politely can you please check again, he entered $950 on his machine and said you are very lucky we can do $950 for you. Didnt ask for the order number.

    Paid the amount, luckily it was in stock, got it from the warehouse in the back. Will set it later tonight.

    bought the Q930B a few days ago from TGG but upon installation one of the speakers was not working, and the soundbar doesnt seem to work with my LG TV, is this normal? Should I return this and get this one instead?

      Have you plugged it into the eARC port on the soundbar as well as the tv? With certain tv's you may need to go into the settings and set an audio output option, if the soundbar isnt working the other speakers shouldnt be outputting any sound as the soundbar acts as the main controller linking all the other speakers to it. Also download the samsung smart things app as it'll let you configure the soundbar.

        yup did that, so when i use my phone to bluetooth the soundbar and one of the speakers works alright.. and also change the settings on the TV too. One of the speaker is obviously faulty.. as for the pairing to the TV, cant be that difficult isnt it.. ? or maybe i got a faulty set? so change or upgrade?

          seconded upgrade! had a major fault with the q950a with one of the rear speakers dying within 6 months of use, upgraded to the q990b, much more a premium looking product with a better finish and more features.

    I tried getting this price today.

    Best I could obtain through JB Hifi was $1040 after multiple attempts.

    Called the Good Guys sales line and the guy did $950 within a few minutes. The guy said they'd probably do the $950 price again during Boxing Day.

    If anyone is interested in this, definitely call the Good Guys sales line.

    Just went in person to TGG hoppers crossing after trying jb and tgg through the phone with no luck and the sales guy did $950! He said he was aware of people getting by that price and was happy to do it. He asked not to share it but here it go ozbargainers!

            @andyndy: After asking here, I called the TGG hotline on the 24th morning and they price matched to $950. I picked it up at the local store few minutes later. Love the speakers! Especially for $950!
