MS Wireless Desktop 800 $3.01 (Pay $18 and Get $14.99 Cashback) Pick up CentreCom [Melb Only]

Another one to consider for the cashback claims.

Microsoft Wireless Desktop 800
CentreCom on special you pay $18 and then get ms cashback $14.99.
Only for Melbourne and quite a few stores still have stock.

I was lazy and just got a price match at my local OW and no probs to get it down to $17.10, so effectively becomes $2.11 after cashback.

  • awesome.

  • how do you get the cashback?

    • Lol MS cash back deals have been posted on ozbargain almost every few days, how can you not know !!!

  • it's cheap but it drains battery very fast, like i had to change mouse batteries every week.

    • what batteries were you using?

      • -1

probably his own, otherwise he wouldn't car how fast it drained the batteries ;)

    • Yes, $3 is about what this is worth. Bought it for $12 (no rebate) at MSY about 18 months ago - Worst wireless combo I've owned. On my timber desk the mouse keeps waking up from low power for no reason, and even when it isn't doing that it chews through the battery very quickly. Doesn't work well/at all with 1.2V rechargeables and the mouse is jumpy/imprecise a lot of the time. Re-pairing/channel hopping doesn't seem to help. Switched to a Logitech cordless desktop, 3x the price but 100x less aggravation

    • mb if u use the on/off switch it would last a bit longer donk

  • Does anyone know if it's on sale in Bendigo?

  • -2

      [Melb Only]

Indicates that it may not be a good deal if you are not in Melbourne.

  • I have a set of these for my hp mediaserver and the batteries have lasted almost a year. also takes a fair bit of abuse, have bought another for the parents!

For anyone who cares, this mouse and keyboard works perfect with the xbox and ps3, great for typing in wireless keys and dns info, or entering your details for psn/xbl account, if u use the browser on the ps3 this even gives you mouse support, i have one and i would buy another one if needed without thinking

    • And if you are a true ozbargainer you will use a steamed off stamp to send in the claim form.

      • +1

Nope. If you are a true ozbargainer, you would just email them your claim form (including receipt) and save that stamp for something else.

        • FYI, I have confirmed with the company running the promotion that you can indeed scan your claim/receipt and email it to them ([email protected]) and just quote the confirmation number(s) in your email. Have fun spending the 60cents you save! (perhaps put it towards quarter of another keyboard/mouse combo!).

      • Can you get rid of the stamp ink?

  • +1

Thanks I bought 3 from OW. They price matched and gave me 5% discount too.
