Lenovo IdeaCentre 3 Desktop Ryzen 5 16GB/128GB+1TB Win11 $674 @ Officeworks

173

Really good specs for this price range of brand new out-of-the-box PCs. Has Windows, bluetooth, wifi and SSD all ready to go. Most of the other PCs in this market segment only have 8GB RAM and a HDD. Techfast have a good offering around this price but no Windows, no wifi and are aiming for a different audience. Not for everyone but I think there are people out there who'd appreciate this one.

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2022

    It's a 3500u man

No trying to have a go, but I feel like you would be better served with one of these: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0BHKZB98T
Upside of the lenobo is PCIe slots.

hmm the processor is a 3500U mobile..
Old Zen Plus / architures, but at least its quad core / eight threads…

Not a good deal. $650 for what is a 4 year old computer?

The 8th gen optiplexes are far better value than this…

      Link? Don't want refurbished.

Nothing wrong with refurbed, not like you're gonna eat it, still has warranty.

Refurb is fine for some but not for others. Depends on use case.

@PSEACT: It's a pc not jewlerry, makes 0 difference if there's scratches on your sub 400 dollar pc.

            • -5

              @JerraJones: No.
Edit- Haha negging is so petty, chucked a little hissy fit at the end of the convo.

              • @PSEACT: I don't think so, you sound butt hurt about your non deal for a 3500u

                • -5

@Jessie Ryder: Yeah you had a little tantrum and started negging. This deal has done really well, a lot of people have found it useful as per upvotes which was the purpose of posting it.

                  • @PSEACT: It is a really bad buy, Ozbarginers should know

Comparing the refurb above, you save $200+ and:

                    CPU rankings
                    3500u 701st / 1369
                    8500 105th / 1369

And yes it was me, I personally down voted your post 5 times with my 5 accounts. lmao

                    • -4

@Jessie Ryder: If a refurb is suitable for the use case, for sure there are great deals out there like the one you've said. In some situations a refurb is not suitable, i.e. data security requirements and many more.

You don't need to buy a refurb to get a way better deal than this. This is worth more like $450, not $650
