      (However to be fair when I first moved to Victoria my roadside assistance from NRMA still covered me through RACV, so maybe the standard ones, i.e. NRMA, RACV, RACQ etc, all have a similar arrangement?)

      When I first moved to Victoria my NSW NRMA roadside still covered me. At the time I just had to call NRMA and then when I told them I was in Victoria they would transfer me through to RACV.

    Well it did the trick of getting me to look at the app they're plugging. Bike route planning is quite an art and google doesn't do a good job of it. Sadly this is Vic only

      It's not a great app tbh. Very laggy (you'll ride past an exit often) and it kills the phone battery (50% in 40 minutes sometimes). But the idea is good and hopefully they build on it.

    Was able to purchase through call as well. Though the rep had to put me on hold for 2 minutes as he had to do some checks as he was shocked at the price. When he came back he asked me where I saw this promotion and I said through the Arevo app. No problems purchasing after that.

    Went through for me as of 11:55am, $10 payment is pending on card. Somehow the person I talked to on the phone does have my email address and details on the form submitted (I am not RACV member). I suspect the system does log your information even it does not go through.
