Same price as recent listings from other vendors, solid gaming CPU and potentially good upgrade for those already on AM4 with an older or slower chip.
Posting this as I couldn't see a listing for Umart at this price and they still seem to have some Uncharted codes available.
Note that Umart don't actually appear on AMD's list of participating vendors, but it's plastered all over the product page so I emailed Umart support about the code after collecting my CPU and they sent one through the next morning.
The code seems valid as AMD's redemption site accepts it, unfortunately their verification tool is garbage so I'm still struggling with "DNS issues" (cool story AMD…) when trying to run the app.
(FWIW I've tried everything in AMD's FAQ for the tool and have now contacted their support for assistance. I'll update this post once I hear back, or if the issue magically resolves itself.)
Update: after a useless initial reply from AMD suggesting I try the troubleshooting steps I'd already tried and several hours with no reply to my followup, I tried again just now and the issue magically resolved itself. A couple of misleading error messages later (reward already claimed, can't claim right now please try later), the AMD rewards portal finally offered up a link to login and activate via Steam. Good lord what a convoluted mess, but at least it worked in the end.
Yup. I recently found out that their verification tool does not run on Linux. Ended up sending an email to their support team asking for assistance and got it all resolved very quickly.
