    Thanks OP, don't yet have 4k but might pick it up just in case the 10 yo plasma goes. Black in the shots are still great for the movie though, trumping many other cheaper LED screens out there that we've seen. Still, we try not to let this distract us from the fact that Hector is going to be running 3 Honda Civics with Spoon engines, and on top of that, he just went into Harry's and he ordered 3 T66 turbos, with NOS. And a Motec system exhaust.

      I loved my Japanese made panny plasma until it started to play up and I grabbed an LG OLED a year or two ago. OMG - incredible. Do it.

            @thomalfa: Just buy a new one and relegate the old one to replace the next biggest one in the house…

            We started off with just the 40" LCD, then got a 55" LCD and the 40" moved to the kids area. Then we got a 65" LCD and the 55" replaced the 40" and then it went to the bedroom.

            Eventually one of them will die and you just shuffle as needed.

      I don't think it's the worst. The newer movies have been pretty damn horrible. But Tokyo drift is fairly awful and I'm surprised noone mentioned the trolling either haha

        9 was ridiculous, but 8, 7, 6, and 5 were arguably 4 of the best 5 movies in the series (along with the first one).

    Pre CG race scenes will always win but 4 was just so jarring with the tonal change and the orange and blue hues.
