[PC] The Essential Content Creator Bundle (Vegas Pro 18 Edit + 6 others) - $37.22 @ Humble Bundle

80

Three tiers but realistically the 3rd tier is what most people will be interested in:

Tier 1: $1.48+

  • Music Maker EDM Edition
  • Voucher Code for Producer Planet (online store)

Tier 2: Beat the average ($35.92 at time of posting)

  • Previous tier, plus:
  • SOUND FORGE Audio Studio 16
  • Movie Studio 2022

Tier 3: $37.22+

  • Previous tier, plus:
  • VEGAS Pro 18 Edit*
  • MAGIX MUSIC MAKER 2023 PREMIUM
  • ProDAD Mercalli V5 (Two-Year License)

* In some places this is listed as full-Pro (not Edit), but the software key I received is specifically for Pro 18 Edit.

Charity is One Tree Planted (can't change for this bundle).

Prices are in AUD. Minimum allocation to Humble appears to be high for this bundle at 30% (the slider is very deceptive this time).

DaVinci Resolve is a freemium competitor worth considering as well: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve/

  • I’ve heard great things about DaVinci, and I’ve used old versions of Vegas but my go to is Corel VideoStudio. Just bought the current version a few days ago.

  • Can anyone explain the difference between pro and edit? I used to use vegas 10ish years ago, wouldn't mind picking up a copy but is it one of those ones where you'll just wish you went the full hog?

    • As far as I understand it, Edit vs Pro is actually single-program (Edit) vs software-package (Pro).

Edit is just Vegas and that's it. Pro is Vegas plus some other stuff like Sound Forge. If you're just in it for the video editor itself, you get the full thing with just Edit - it doesn't seem to be a cut-down version, it just doesn't have some of the bundled extra software.

This person has a screenshot of the comparison page from the Vegas website back when 18 was the current version. The image doesn't seem to show at full-res for me without download, so here's a mirror of that image for convenience: https://i.imgur.com/UrR6V8t.png

      • Thank you for the explainer mate I really appreciate it! Sounds like its still a good deal proposition.
