I have the version with steel handles.

They're fantastic but the plastic is pretty soft and gets worn relatively quickly.

Would love to find a cheap replacement board which fits in the same holder.

million dola idea right there for joseph joseph, replacement boards

Make a sub par product and make further profits with replacement parts. The Jeep business model.

        • Was fapbunny alluding to this?

    • I've got no issues with them

    • Our old ones are tougher. Steel handle must be annoying if it means no dishwasher

Even at $45 that's some expensive plastic chopping boards

I get it, they look nice, and was considering ordering until I read the above comment about premature wear.

I mean come on, how often do plastic chopping boards wear out?! 🤷‍♂️😂

      • If your blade is sharp… it will cut the plastic. Each and every chop.

    • They're fine, they don't wear out faster than anything else

Cheers OP, got one from the ebay store $10 per board is unbeatable.

  • Didn’t need to look very hard to find cheaper normal price boards and probably better.

    • Each chopping board: 30cm (L) x 20cm (W)
      Probably not same thickness neither.

      • If you need more space then buy two and still cheaper 😀

You're not doing the cooking obviously:-P

        • Or the washing up

    Just imaging eating micro plastics
I’d rather eat wood or bamboos

    • +3

      Totally agree

    • +5

If you wear nylon or drink water you are taking in microplastics

      • its just worse cos now you are breaking the plastic up when cutting. Kinda like asbestos before being drilled

        • Hope you're not using Tefal pans then.

          • +2

@ShouldIBuyIt: I am using GreenPan. Ceramic coating

            • @Kawaii: I had a look at those which seem to be a good price. Are yours compatible with induction? We need to change our hot stove and want to use induction. May have to change our pans too.

I use stainless steel cup. And I only wear full cotton

      • Hot coffee cups, tea bags.

      Otherwise just buy bamboo ones
