  • Cannot see where you place the code

    • At checkout

      • I see no prompt to add voucher code only 'place order'

        I've got it now thanks

  • I can confirm it works at stores ordered from previously.

    • I just tried and I get

Unfortunately, this promotion is only available to customers who have never ordered from this location

      • I can also confirm that i got through with my local Coles which i had online ordered before.

      • I got the same. Weirdly often the deivers go to different coles that indicated, they just go to whatever is closest and I still get marked from having used that coles.

  • most will have multiple nearby Coles available (to find their store search on Google "doordash coles insertsuburb").

How do you do this exactly?
Searching google doesn't come up with anything

    • Are you replacing "insertsuburb" with a suburb near you that has a Coles?

      • Yes

    • Search on Doordash instead, or better yet look in the "convenience" category.

Don't know why you'd use Google tbh.

      • Did that, only comes up with one. I have gotten 40% off Coles quite a few times though, so I'm not complaining…. that much

        • +1

Have you tried updating your location another suburb and then changing it back after putting something in a cart for that Coles? Probably be higher delivery though.

  • one time use?

  • Delivery still charged right? Unless you have DashPass? Is it a flat fee or based on how far you are from local Coles? What have people been paying for Delivery roughly? (sorry I normally pick up my food orders)

    • +1

for some reason my order no delivery fee. I dont have dash pass too. I got charged a $4.20 service fee however

    • +1

Based on distance, I had pass so it was free but it displayed $4.99 for the first order, $7.99 for the next.

      • How come second order was more expensive? Does it go based on how many items your ordered? So second order was a bigger order?

Or did you order from different store that is further away?

        • It's a flat fee based on distance. First one was about 1KM away, the other about 3KM away.

  • +2

Lots of good buys when you search for "Coles" within Coles, as their homebrands come up

  • -6

Why is this a deal when there is a 40% off no min spend anywhere

    • that one 10$ max discount. This one 20$ max.

    • Dashpass only offers me free delivery with $30 spend so that code works out as ~33% off.

    • Why you think only one can be a deal now?

  • +1

Worked out to be 20% off $50 after delivery + fees from my local Coles 👍

  • +4

I ordered previously from Coles via Doordash using a code, the order was delivered overfilled and squashed into one bag with a broken probiotic drink spilt all through everything I was also charged 1KG pricing for every produce item, (ie 3 tomatoes cost $5.95, 1 peach cost $4.95). Fair enough mistakes happen with billing, however Doordash was utterly unhelpful and just told me they could not correct anything as per "their policy" and had no end of excuses that were like a 4 year olds. Being housebound and reliant on this service I just had to suck it up as not even Coles was interested in sorting it out, and taking it up with the credit card company would mean I'd be banned from the platform entirely…a really big and expensive lesson on how badly they treat you as a customer when things like this go wrong.

    • +3

Doordash has banned me from making complains, so when theres issues, I get no compensation. I only complain if my order is wrong, missing items or didn't arrive. I don't complain if its late, cold, not good etc.
My latest issues have been a burger…it arrived with no beef patty…kind if big thing for a burger i got no compensation. Got told it would be escalated and contacted the next day but no contact.
Then I ordered a coffee with breakfast. No option to add a shot to my coffee, so I wrote in the notes and the restuarant charged me $4.5 after it was delivered. $4.50 for a shot!
I was enjoying doordash but after these and 4 restaurants cancelling my orders in the same day (but waiting an hour each to do so.) I cancelled my dashpass

      • same goes for McDonalds, never ever customise anything OR get a mcdouble of anything, you pay for it but just get a normal one, every time, over and over..this happens across all the delivery platforms, but in the end i am seeing this slackness happening from restaurants across the board, it seems there is an attitude now that near enough is good enough and that whatever the customer gets is fine, as they will still get paid for it and don't care about the loss of a customer long term?

  • Doesn't work at IGA and won't let me order from Coles as I have before.

    • Same issue for me with Coles, IGA works but prices are jacked.

  • +1

Doesn't work at my local Coles but works at next one further out, for only $1 extra delivery fee I'll take it. Good stuff to use up remaining credit I had on that account.

Quick way to check if promo applies to specific Coles is just to add something $40 to your cart (meat -> sort price high to low).
For those who want to change their Coles, if you type "Coles" into the address bar on Doordash it'll come up with your closest ones. Click one of them, and then at checkout change address back to home (Delivery fee will have changed from $0.99 to $X.99). Coles Local is same price as in store as well.

    • When do you add promo code, before changing back to your address yeah?

I just tried a Coles further out but didn't work :(

      • +1

Yeah before changing back to your address, if promo code works it's all good. If address doesn't change, it means its too far away to deliver. If promo code doesn't apply DD thinks you've ordered from there before (or you haven't reached $40 before fees).

        • They changed it now, doesn't let you order from other Coles, says outside your delivery area. RIP.

  • +1

Still some savings despite high delivery and service fees.

  • +1

Thanks OP I just saved $19.08 on a Coles order, for me that pays for a hot chook for tea and the fees DD charge.
Coles prices through DD are brilliant no mark up at all, I shop there all the time so I know my prices.

Thanks again OP & have a very Merry Xmas :)

  • Did 2 orders from coles both for mince and chicken breast. spent $30.25 and got $28 worth of mince and $15 worth of chicken. Good deal!

    • +1

How does this work? Does the dasher buy out of pocket and doordash reimburse? Interesting. I chose option to refund if no stock.. i got the refund and still had the full $20 discount which was good!

      • +1

Dashers would have no idea if you've used a code or not, they just get given a virtual credit card with the appropriate funds for the order.

    • did u allow subtitution? i ordered indomie ($0.70) and it's oos and they gave me shin ramyun ($2.10) and charge me more .

      • You're supposed to select refund

        • I thought coles person will collect the item and then dasher will just pickup and deliver. First time rookie error. But a nice doordash cs refunded the difference.

          • @tinx: Where is the option to choose refund or substitute.. I don't think I can see it..

            • +1

@nomnomnom: It shows the option after you've placed an order and disables the option when your shopper arrives at the store.

  • -3

The worst part when it comes to DoorDash coupons is when they make them work only on stores you've never ordered from… Real pathetic and scum.

  • -1

Ordered and never even turned up

  • -1

Wish I could neg this, second attemp and missing items, hours late and nothing in a bag! Had to try and carry 8 items in arms

  • Love this code!! Anyone knows when it expires?
