    Thank you for the post!
    Crucial 8TB 3200MHz Cl22 DDR4 Laptop RAM should be 8GB, not 8TB

      Fixed, thanks!

Any chance the CyberPower 3 pack at $49 will come back?

    • +1

Thanks, here for an alert for "8TB", saved me some time

A 2TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus has a RRP of $769. It's kinda hard to take SE's sale seriously.

    • +1

Lmao that's its RRP on most other sites! I commented on the previous trifecta post saying how they only do crappy deals now…. simply clearing stock they can't move.
Wanting the old trifectas back with actual deals… and they release these offers. FFS their RRP's are a bloody joke sometimes. And STILL with the surcharges!!! It shouldn't exist!
An online store with no physical shop, can't pay cash so eftpos is the only choice basically, and they charge you for it!! Lmao this has made my laughing day.
      Bloody $769 RRP lmao!!

Shopping Express is so bad for rrp, that's not even a bad one.

      Crucial P3 500GB 3500MB/s PCIe Gen 3 NVMe M.2 (2280) SSD. $68.00 RRP $10,998.90

      • WTFF!!
I think you're also paying for the T.V for a chance to win a T.V lmao!!

Group A is a strong start, but things start to get grim when you reach Group B. By the time group C comes around all hope is lost.

    • Shopping Express always does this.

It's just their sneaky way of clearing unwanted stock listed in Groups B and C.

      Watch straps galore this time…

  • +2

King of Tokyo Board game is in Group B, and is actually a good deal. They're selling it for $39 separately, which looks to be the cheapest you can buy it at the moment (worthy of it's own OzBargain post, TBH)… I've played King of New York a couple times and really enjoyed it.

  • Waiting for someone to post what the best ABC combo is.

    • +3

The best combo is the parts you need.
But C has… nothing. I can't imagine anyone needing any of the crap in C.

      • +2

Agreed. The only viable item in C for me is the mouse pad.

Similarly, the only item in B that is worth it is surprisingly the board game King of Tokyo, which at $39 is genuinely a bargain in its own right.

        • For A, B and premium, I was thinking the Crucial SSD, Logitech F710 and UPS make up the "good deal"… but I don't like Crucial drives (previous bad experiences)… if only they added a 2Tb NV2 as a 2nd budget SSD option in the A class…

Shopping Express vouchers are pretty average.

Got one in the last batch, but they ran a 10% sitewide discount, but you have to remove that for your voucher to be eligible, so really it's a pretty average voucher and you can get better prices during most sales which pop up frequently. I would've used the voucher if it was stackable with the sitewide 10% but alas, no point. Also couldn't use it on any of the jaw dropping deals.

So it's a voucher with many *** attached.

Am I crazy or is that 32GB of DDR5 4800 Crucial ram not actually a very good deal (?).
I bought a HP Elitebook recently and the only thing that would make this better is if the CAS latency were lower, or there was a HP Thunderbolt dock among the premium options.

  • I am tempted to go the following:

    8tb HDD
    King of Tokyo
    Norton 360
TP Link Deco X20 (3 pack)

With the $50 voucher for another $1 spend I think it's a pretty good deal.

However after doing some research the TP Link X60 is far better than the X20. Pity they havent offered that as a premium item.

    • +14

Why would anyone want Norton 360?

  • best bet is to choose all the things with the highest resale value and try and make a small profit, the best i could make was 970 evo plus 2tb +seagate firecuda 1tb with hdd + pebble mouse+ random ewaste mouse, cause theres at least some discount on the drives there, just not much

Edit, looking at cheapest prices, $250 for 2tb 970 evo plus and $119 for firecuda 510 1tb is $369, so even minus 95$ from 500 is $405 w/o shipping, so there really isnt a deal unfortunately, unless you want the harddrive

  • Bring back the HP Microserver Trifecta

  • You can choose a premium item for only $300 extra.
… and 2 of the premium items (modem & monitor) are only worth $299 full price!
