Surely under consumer law HN is required to honour the conditions of their advertisement, even if it means accepting orders up to 22 July for delivery when stock becomes available?

Hi Ozyack got a Blue one today from OW in Adelaide St. They were only too happy to price match the paper HN catalog.
can you confirm you got the dock included. the receipt does not show the dock?
the dock was included. It comes in the box so I'm thinking it comes with it in default I guess?
I am certain OW only sells the TF300T including the dock itself.

My friend and I managed to get one from HN in Narre Warren for the advertised $476. He bought it for his wife but she wants the red not the blue one so he is thinking of reselling his and wait for the red one to drop on price as well, so if any one is interested for the blue one let me know and I shall keep you updated.
I just bought two from Harvey Norman Belrose. No issues at all, just ask them to refer to the catalogue. Also offered a three year replacement warranty at $99. When I turned that down he came back with $65 - seemed like good value. So all up $541 with three year replacement warranty!

I picked up a red TF300 from Harvey Norman in Newcastle today for $476 without any hassles or haggling. I was in there yesterday and kicked myself for not picking one up once I saw the price increase online last night, however this morning they still had the $476 sign up. Spoke to a salesman called Johnno and he said that price was valid for today but did not know beyond that. He said they knew they were losing money on the item and their invoicing system displayed that info in red letters too. They had about 10 or so in stock as of 11am this morning.

Okay guys, after lunch I went and got one at OW. The Harvey Norman (Nunawading) sales blokes were all whinging like little girls about the 'error' and said the best they could do was $525. I have grabbed the catalogue and heres my scan of the copy of the catalogue and my OW reciept. =)

Picked mine for $476 at HN epping in White .
Went to JB Hifi in Top Ryde and price they could do wsa $550 and in Blue only
Very tempted to buy this instead of waiting for the Infinity Pad.
Got 2 at $476each and here is how:
I checked the website this afternoon, price was back $576 as others have reported. So I thought i'd go into the local store and checked store availability on the HN website which is a cool feature and it listed that the local store has stock.
So I went to the local harvey norman store, picked up the catalogue in front of the computer section. In the catalogue the tft300 is clearly priced at $476 including the dock.
I went to the sales guy and told him I want to buy 2 of these. He said "no problems" and disappeared to get the stock. He came back after 15 minutes and said that this price is an error and apologised. He also said all stores have received price correction notices on this product but due to the error he can give me one for that price but not two. So i bought the one.
Then I took that same catalogue and went to JB-HIFI next door and asked the sales guy if he can beat the harvey norman advertised price which shows $476 (JBHifi marked price was $599). He said "wow, probably not possible" but that he needs to check with the manager. He came back after 2 minutes and said he can't beat that price because it's $70 below cost but said he would match it. So I ended up getting my second one at the end.
The catalgoue price is clearly and error on the HN side but if you think about that the infinity and the nexus 7 (also asus manufactured) is around the corner then it's probably good to start dumping old stock. Anyway, this worked out for both, the seller and the buyer as otherwise they would not have sold it for that price at the end.

Perhaps go and try another OW the one closest to me had none in stock. The guy was kind enough (i mean reallly reallly nice) to call up the other one that had it in stock and told them to keep one for me. I drove there, showed the guy the catalogue he went to the back for 10 mins then came out happily to go the price beat. =)
Looks like everyone's realised this. Was an error in the catalogue at this price. Price corrections were dispatched to stores though worth a try to get it for that price but you'll be very lucky to get it for that price as it has been corrected with notices being displayed etc.

HN Chadstone had a notice stuck next to the tablet saying there was an error in the catalogue and wouldn't honour $476.

Hey guys, if you want to get a sleeve and a screen protector for your transformer. I just found out and got some from MSY, it says they're for the TF101 but they both work fine with the TF300. The sleeve was $9 and the screen protector was $2. Both are genuine Asus products. The screen protector was very easy to apply. Mitcham (VIC) only has one sleeve left, whilst more than a dozen of screen protectors. http://www.msy.com.au/product.jsp?productId=9187 for the sleeve. It looks and feels identical to the ipad's black sleeve that Apple sells for their tab (I used that for a few days for the transformer). Except it has the asus logo printed instead of the fruit.For the stylus I am using the free one I got from here a few weeks back, works like a treat. =D
