      You may say that, but while vodafone 4G in some areas can be hit and miss, the same areas on 5G can be full bars.

    Currently with Vodafone, speeds in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne are average. Telstra is a lot better in comparison

      No it's a starter pack so for new activations only.
      You'd need to port out to another carrier and then back again.

    Is this a good deal even without the double data for pre-paid with 5G access?

    I'm currently on a 12 month Telstra pre-paid plan that ends in March but will lose my 5G access from then. Don't care too much about the double data as I'm home most of the time.
