[WA] Ozito Electric Air Pump / Inflator 500l/Min 240V $9.95 @ Bunnings, Albany

670

Went to Bunnings to buy this 440l/min $18.95 inflator for an air mattress. To my positive surprise, right next to it on the shelf (back wall of Toolshop) they had a slightly faster one for $9.95 (reduced from $14.95).

Can't believe I inflated the air mattress with a manual pump last night and only after it leaked and got exchanged, went looking for electrical. A tad over 2 minutes to fill a QS flocked airbed. Happy camper!

Item not on the Bunnings or Ozito website, and sorry, didn't get the item number. Barcode number: 9319510025245

Hope other stores stock it too.

    Happy camper

    • camping at home? this doesn't run off batteries

      • Plenty of options: powered site, small inverter, V2L.

        • i use a 40v makita inflator, so much easier to use a battery powered one.

          • @Hugh G Rection: The Makita is a lot more versatile and can do higher pressure too for things like tyres. But the price puts it into a very different category too, almost $200 from what I see.

            • @team teri: lol, im not comparing the 2, i'm just saying having a battery powered one is better.

      must be pumped

    • Pity they don't have it in the Ozito battery group. If you were remote camping it would be far more convenient (and easier) to use the rechargeable batteries.

  • Does it come with a 12V input?

    • +1

My one has the cord directly connected to the pump, so it can't support 12V power source

    • '240' in the model name suggests it doesn't.
I have this electric once and while its not nice but I can't use it most of the time because I'm not near an electric outlet.

Got a similar one at home and the airflow are really strong
Always bring one with me to inflate the portable mattress for the kids when staying in hotels
(the only drawback is it only support 220-240V, so cant be used in 110V countries like Japan)

    • I had one and it died. Bought at a ridiculous price but well worth getting another. thanks

      • 3 years replacement warranty on this one

  • Has anyone considered these smaller battery-powered ones?

I have one of these to use on the boat for inflating tubes and stuff. It works well, but is underpowered compared to a 240v jobbie. Still beats my lungs by a wide margin though.

      • Is the kmart one suitable/enough to inflate one of the inflatable stand up paddleboards?

        • +1

None of these will fully inflate a SUP. They'll give it shape, but you need a high pressure pump not high volume to finish it off.

I use the Ozito inflator. The high volume bit only takes a minute, but to get from there to 15 psi with the tiny high pressure side of it takes about 20 mins. It's hands off though, stops at set pressure.

          • @bamzero: Thanks for the reply and recommendation. That one looks good! Cheers

      • If you're lucky might find stock of this clearance one @ $12

  • can dust a pc with this?

  • The link for the 440litre one has a $18.98 price online. Wonder if the 98c price, means it's a run out or something. Just seems an odd price?

  • Would other places price match?
