Honestly, these photos sometimes it makes it feel like the website is run by some dude in one corner of his poorly-lit basement.

      • That is very probable. The website has been like that for years.

    • i appreciate that they do lume shots for most watches.

Whole website looks a bit average

    • I've mentioned this on other Creation posts but this mob are indeed shady.

tl;dr - they sent me a faulty watch and wouldn't do anything to help. PayPal stepped in and got me a refund.

The Seiko 5 is comfortable hiding on my wrist; it's just there, unchallenged. Ever since I put this 38mm watch on my wrist during our current 39- to 42-mm case zeitgeist, I couldn't feel more aligned with both the past and the present, living fully within the ooey-gooey liminal space of perfection.

This Seiko’s wrist presence is arrestingly pleasing. My seven-inch wrist feels balanced when I oscillate the Lovecraftian inky black dial instead of cosmic dread, I am rejuvenated by its magic eight-ball vastness.

    • sounds like your bits are utterly & completely chuffed. nice one seiko 5…..

No disrespect to Wontons but it doesn't seem that long ago when all these Seiko 5 models with the entry level 7S26 movement were easily found under $100 del. They've got cheap rattly bracelets too.

As a comparison you could spend $37 more for a Seiko DressKX ($199 del) with 4R36 Auto Movement that has hand winding & hacking, hardlex, drilled lugs & 100m.

Fair comment! I personally haven't seen the 7S26 movement on watches under $100 that weren't relatively niche in appearance. Though I do agree in that the $37 extra is worth it for the 4R36 movement.

Don't forget the 3 year Seiko warranty from StarBuy compared to Gray stock from CreationWatches .. I've bought quite a few watches from creation but they used to be quite a lot cheaper then.

$162 for a 7S26 movement, mineral crystal and folded link bracelet. Yeah, nah. Just get a SteelDive or Tandorio from AliExpress

  • Hi guys any updates on shipping?
I ordered mine a couple weeks ago and got a tracking number a week ago:
    LPXXXXXXXXXXSG

However when I search this number it comes back with no updates
