I was looking through Amazon for a USB-C hub for a decent price, was tempted to get the cheaper $13.42 one but it has mixed reviews regarding product built quality issues, so I ended up getting this one instead. Personally, I have used UGREEN USB accessories, mainly USB cables and adapters in before and works really well on my MacBook Pro.

  So no usbc for data?

  I do need one of these. I have a hand me down dodgy one. Have looked ages on Amazon and they nearly all have weaknesses or bad user reviews so I gave up. I like this one has 4k60 as that’s often not provided.

  Has anyone had this one cut out with too many ports used or does it get very hot quickly? They’re faults of my current one.

  Would this be good to transfer photos from camera SD card to phone on holiday? I used a OTG Cable/USB last trip but found it too slow to transfer photos and videos

    This model (PD charging) from AliExpress would cost around $60 after discount and after GST applied. However, the more affordable usb hub version (without PD, as in USB C hub) cheaper.

    The reason I got mine with PD charging version because I need it to function along with hard drive and SD card (that uses a lot of power), and to use it on my tablet with a single port for long duration.
