So can the $50 be used of this machine or is it $578 and get a $50 credit for later use. If so think you should change the price in title.

    • it's $578

      Done. Its $578.

  • Just got one of these from Hard Rubbish. The group head seal is laughable construction (and this one was chewed, which im guessing is why they turfed it). So factor in a new seal regularly im guessing. But super easy to replace,
One screw and $9 on ebay to replace. Everything seems to work fine. But guessing Breville charge $200+ to replace the seal.

Didnt have the handle /portafilter. Bought a bottomless from Kogan yesterday. See how she goes.

    • Wow nice find!!!

Maybe the previous owner stored it with the group head locked in place which is a big mistake.

      • Nah, the Breville has small thin lines on the seal. They won't last long. I don't understand why they didn't just go with a flat seal.

  • My brother has this machine: it makes some very nice coffee.

  • Good deal

I picked one up yesterday for $535 at JB (price matched to Amazon $565 and used $30 perks voucher). Wish I got it for under $500 earlier in month but oh well.

It's a very good machine, a lot smaller than I expected but that's great - I know I did yesterday.

Don't forget bonus cashback through Cashrewards and Shopback and/or discounted gift cards. And to claim the bonus before Dec 31 (free coffee beans and Masterclass).

If you don't know how to grind beans recommend you pickup cheap beans from Aldi or Coles Urban brand. $11-$12 per kg. You'll waste a lot of beans practicing initially.

    • I got mine from previous deal for $500. It is amazing. You might need to buy pre grind coffee. the grinder for this machine is not amazing.

      • You might need to buy pre grind coffee. the grinder for this machine is not amazing.

preground can't be better than the grinder, esp, if preground wasn't as fresh.

i would say set the grind setting to very low (like 1).

        • tried lowest setting and it is not as good as the one my mum grind at her coffee shop. So she took grinded coffee back home everyday instead using this grinder

          • @yoloxswag: Cannot compare a cafe professional machine with this one.

$20 of the credit instantly goes to the funnel, which is a must with this machine:

Also noting that this is a very misleading logic:

get $50 store credit to use within 10 days which gets the actual price down to $528.

because it's only true if you have something to buy in their shop within 10 days.

Not if you 3d print one for <$1 ;)

      • Out of curiosity, how long does it take, incl. potential filing / smoothening of the printed thing?

  • Haven't printed myself, but wouldn't be much effort.

  • Does anyone know if I can use storecash for this purchase and get more storecash? Have a$70 to use this boxing day from buying a fridge 2 weeks ago and would be sweet to get this for $508 with another 50 storecash in a couple weeks
