These Bunnings Weber deals must be store specific. Asked at my local store and they thought I was an idiot for thinking they sold Weber.

Spotted them on Taylors Lakes yesterday too, it might just because they still sitting somewhere on the rack.

      • have seen a few bunnings store …..often near entrance …. might be seasonal deal rather than regular all year round item, so in some stores possibly still on a rack.

Just a word of warning, these are grey import. Bunnings are not a authorised Weber dealer and have imported these units ( and other models) direct from the USA. Weber Australia will not honour warranty claims and as such all warranty claims will have to go through Bunnings.

    • What are you going to warranty? There’s nothing to go wrong, and you can buy any spares cheap.

I’ve got a hand me down that’s about 30yrs old and a new one that’s 5 years old. I can’t imagine what could possibly go wrong with normal use?

      • Agree, there's nothing moving with these. Only things that might go wrong are manufacturers defects of which Bunnings is more than happy to swap over the new one.

      • Valid questions and i have no idea as i dont own one. I have a Weber Family Q and have had to make a couple of warranty claims with Weber Australia and they were fantastic to deal with.

Bunnings Australia will be the ones who you would have to deal with, and i will admit every time i have had to deal with them they have been great as well.

I purely posted only to inform people of the situation that Bunnings are selling directly imported Weber products and that your warranty would be with them and not Weber Australia.

Any warranty claim might be drawn out if there was an issue though as im not sure that Bunnings would just swap it over, you would have to wait for Bunnings to lodge a claim with Weber USA I am only speculating on this point though, i'm not sure what agreements they have in place.

  • Didn’t even know they sold the old ones

  • Be warned that Bunnings are full on fighting warranty claims and returns now too. At least at the Balcatta Perth store.

Delay tactics, obstruction you name it, every tactic they can come up with.

Having to find new suppliers for my former 20k p.a. powerpass spend. Not easy but no choice.

    • Being powepass holder you might have less generous consumer protection as they're known to treat them differently. General consumer it's pretty much straight swap or refund.
