only Special Sale Items have 30% cashback (Capped at $25 Cashback), not good enough

    https://www.firstchoiceliquor.com.au/specials/stock-up-for-s…

    • Where does it say only special sale items?

    • +1

well spotted jackylit - says "Special Sale Items (Capped at $25 Cashback): https://www.firstchoiceliquor.com.au/specials/stock-up-for-s…
      30.00%

All Other Products (Capped at $25 Cashback) 15.00%

pretty full on misleading when you consider they list beer spirits and wine as up to 30% on the same page

Dammit, i already placed my order.
        I am super annoyed now.

My own fault for not reading the cashback rate down the bottom.
        Super misleadleading

        • Just did the same. Peeved off.

        • Something I've complained about to both Cashrewards & Shopback about them being clearer on details

          Just ring and cancel.

    • Luckily I didn't start shopping before the deal was fixed!

      Thanks OP & jackyli1204.

  • Not going to bother, ill probably miss out due to too many loopholes like special sales

10% bonus cashback ($20 cap) for Westpac customers

  • Not going to bother, they have no central stores in WA! Useless mob.

    • Hold up, you're not going to shop at a store that isn't near you?! Wowsers.

      • The closest is SO far away

    • Is there anything in central WA?

  • Good deal if you need anything listed.

  • Up to 30% cashback yet still 0% for all Penfolds

  • At the bottom of the notes section of the shopback android app it says

"Use of Onsite Promo codes are eligible for cashback"

so i think we are all good for using the code.

      @kulprit: Absolutely correct!

      I've updated the deal.

  • Nice. Ordered 4 boxes of beers to take advantage of the $20 off code.

  • I'm confused I placed an order with special items AND some items that were not part of the specials. I was expecting $25 cashback for the specials and another $15ish for the ones that were not part of the specials. But shopback tracked only $25 in total cashback

    • @0FoxGiven: Yeah, the offer is a bit confusing.

I wasn't sure if there was a separate cap for each rate as implied in the "Cashback Rates" section, or if it was a combined cap as implied by the "Up to 30.00% Cashback (Capped at $25)" at the top of the page. Looks like it's the latter.

  • After adding an item to the cart (value was over $200) the Shopback App popped up a note saying there’s a bonus 10% off if using Westpac cards. I’m case this helps someone score another 10% cashback. I did not actually complete my purchase, as I changed my mind.

  • Do we have to use Westpac card to pay for it to get the 30% on 'Special Sale' Items / 15% Other?

    • +1

No, only the 10% bonus cashback requires the order to be charged to a Westpac card

  • So spend 200$ via westpac to get 20$ extra + 25$ cap +20$ code ? Am I right? I’m looking at other items that is 15% but if you’re spending 200$ that means the percentage won’t make any difference ? Thanks

    • @Gavezy890: Absolutely correct! The percentage is irrelevant with a $200 spend.

      • Thanks mate and also had free delivery 🚚😄
