881

Deal is back! 130% Cashback Offer for New PureVPN Customers. Offer ends on Sun 18th May 11:45pm AEST. I checked with the rep.

  • Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 28 days (4 weeks). Check your TopCashback account to confirm last purchase date.
  • PureVPN is excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds.

Last offer was on 18-20 April.
T&Cs state 1 purchase per member every 28 days (4 weeks). Changed from previous 30 days.
Please use a new email address for PureVPN to be eligible for cashback.

If you have purchased from the last offer in April:

Date Of Last Purchase Date Eligible To Buy
18th April 2025 Fri 16th May 2025
19th April 2025 Sat 17th May 2025
20th April 2025 Sun 18th May 2025 by 11:45pm AEST when offer ends

My Tips:

  • For best value, choose Max 2-year plan US$109.95. 5-year plan and add-ons are excluded.
  • Pay with a card without foreign transaction fees.
  • If you use PayPal, PayPal may charge a currency conversion fee. It seems not possible to change currency to USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD.
  • If your order doesn't track or you're not happy with PureVPN, please cancel and request for a refund from PureVPN within 31 days under their 31-day money-back guarantee. If you cancel for non-tracking, you can buy again but use a new email address for PureVPN and the same TopCashback account.
  • You can cancel auto-renewal after you receive cashback.

TA's Tips:

  • Prior to using TopCashback, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, and avoid browsers such as Brave. Ensure you accept cookies on PureVPN's landing page if requested, which holds true for any retailer.
  • Also important to remember that should tracking fail for whatever reason, please cancel using their free 31-day money-back guarantee policy. No point lodging a claim to possibly have it rejected by PureVPN as attributed elsewhere.
  • A new email address for PureVPN is considered as a new customer.

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Cashback is eligible only on 1-year, 2-year, and monthly plans (Standard, Plus, Max). Cashback is ineligible on 5-year plan, Teams multi-user plans, and/or add-ons.
  • Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 28 days (4 weeks). Check your TopCashback account to confirm last purchase date.
  • PureVPN is excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds. Reference the Tell-a-Friend terms for more information.
  • Cashback can only be earned by customers opening a new PureVPN account. Renewals are ineligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on payments made with Crypto currency.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Cashback is calculated and paid on the advertised cost of the plan only. It will exclude upsold products, GST, other taxes, credit card or PayPal surcharges.
  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • You must always return to TopCashback and click the pink cashback button through to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.
  • Any accounts that engage in fraudulent orders/activities to game/cheat the cashback system will be banned and cashback forfeited.

Good to know

  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • If an order is cancelled / returned / exchanged / modified, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.
  • To be eligible for cashback, all transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted/negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.

Referral Links

Referral: random (4083)

Referrer gets $35, referee gets $10 (after $10 of earned cashback within 180 days of signing up).

  • Well I bought the last one 20th April… so hoping for at least expiry of the deal on 19th May so I can take advantage of this offer again 🙏

    • I PMed TA about the expiry date. Updated the post with expiry date and a table on the dates. It's now 1 per member every 28 days (4 weeks). You are eligible to buy on the last day of offer i.e. Sun 18th May by 11:45pm AEST when offer ends.

This is why you're among one of the best on ozb in my books <3.
        THANKS! that table very helpful!
Let's hope this trend continues so we're back to 1 profit/month run.

        • Thank you 🤩

  • +3

My initial purchase attempt of a Max 2-year plan resulted in an orchestrated error message from PureVPN followed by this pop-up:

    UNBEATABLE OFFER
85% OFF on the best selling 5-year plan of PureVPN at just $12.95 $1.99/mo
    Grab this offer
    0 Days 00 Hours 15 Minutes 00 Seconds

    but:

Cashback is ineligible on 5-year plan

    Hope this helps someone.

anyone has info or calc max profit we get on this?

    • Please read "My Tips" in the post description:

For best value, choose Max 2-year plan US$109.95. 5-year plan and add-ons are excluded.

  • So probably safest to wait until tomorrow if you bought on the 18th last month?

    • +1

I've updated the post with a table on the dates.

  • My 2y Nord coming to an end in a month.
Works great including watching kayo overseas.
    Is PureVPN just as good?

    • +1

try it yourself - you're being paid for it

      • Yeah may as well, will hold off till Sunday (not sure the relevance of last purchase date vs date eligible to buy). Usually get a 2y plan.

        • +1

As you haven't bought before, you can buy on any of the 3 days. The table of dates is for members who purchased previously from the last offer from 18-20 April. T&Cs state 1 purchase per member every 28 days (4 weeks).

For best value, choose Max 2-year plan US$109.95. 5-year plan and add-ons are excluded.

          • +1

            @trixieb: Yep ok cheers.
I guess people are just buying every 4 weeks to try and profit but stuff that.

    • Some of us are buying for the profit.

    • +1

I had Nord previously and currently using PureVPN. Nord is better, never had any issues.

Recently tried to watch Amazon Prime UK with PureVPN, didn't work. Always worked with Nord.

      • Yes look at reviews, Nord is better but costs more.

  • +2

    Cool, cheers OP!

Looks like the following are all doing 100% cashback via TopCashback at the moment:

    ExpressVPN
    PIA
    Cyberghost

  • +6

Tracked. Paid $172.09 (ING VISA). Cashback $213.05. Profit $40.96.

    • +2

Topcashback has been most reliable in my experience. If ever there was an issue the customer support was top notch.

Simply put - if you could prove the purchase with an invoice while the deal window was open then they would fix it up for you.

    • +1

      Same here. Great deal!

    • Profiteering…similar to past profit Boost-sim deals?

      PureVPN: what's the pros & cons…real-world-experience?

  • So, if you never purchased before, you could buy now?

    • +1

      Yes.

For best value, choose Max 2-year plan US$109.95. 5-year plan and add-ons are excluded

      • +1

Thanks, just purchased Max 2 years.

  • +2

Why would they pay you to use their product? Please help, my brain!

    • +3

So they can double their money selling your data.

  • Does this mean I can get a new PureVPN account and receive cashback through my existing TopCashback account, if I haven’t purchased PureVPN in the last 28 days?

    • +1

Yes. A new email address for a new PureVPN account is required for cashback. Use the same existing TopCashback account. You are allowed 1 PureVPN purchase every 28 days (4 weeks).

      • +1

        Thank you 😊

  • Purchased Max 2 years, the bonus 6 months is inclusive in the 2 years deal or 24 Months + 6 Months bonus ?

    • Ok the 6 months bonus has now applied !

      • Great. Hope it tracks soon 😀

  • anyone have recommendations on card to avoid foreign transaction fees?

  • Just bought the 2 year plan but seems like it wasn't tracked yet? Do these take time?

    • I haven't bought yet but tracking can be up to 2 hours.

      • Thanks will see how it goes.

        • Mine took 29mins to track.

          • @lufee: there is 85% discount. I want to pay full to maximize cashback.
            How to do it?

            • +1

@hishaken: Make sure you get the 2 year plan.
              Just got mine tracked $213.05

            • @hishaken: The 5 year plan is excluded if that's the plan you mean. In the post description:

For best value, choose Max 2-year plan US$109.95. 5-year plan and add-ons are excluded.

    • unless it's Gift Card, no tracking is usually instant/immediate. In my experience this PureVPN tracks within the hour, around ~45min mark

  • Tried paying by card, passed captcha, approved in banking app, continued hourglassing and hasn't stopped.

    • Same here

      • The comments here may help.

        • They didn't help

          • @dubcmj: Will ask @neoleo

            • @trixieb: Maybe try with Paypal? I am not surprised certain banks don't like certain transactions like this one.

Through Paypal, merchants cannot see your real card numbers, so better for your own privacy and security.

This is one of the reasons why we should have some or even several different bank accounts even if it's small amount. Another reason is if your bank is having problems with their online banking, ATM and/or even network problem when you are paying for groceries etc.

              @dubcmj @wizza13

      • Turns out my bank blocked the transaction, requested a temporary allow but every attempted purchase has been rejected since then.

        • What is your bank? It's time to have some other different bank accounts …

          • @neoleo: Was using Up Bank to avoid fees.

Revolut was also failing for me.

I have CommBank and St George cards but avoiding using them to try and dodge fees.

In the end I had to pay with Revolut via PayPal. Everything else was failing. Now it hasn't even tracked cashback 🤣

            Plenty of methods to

            • @wizza13: Similar to me.
PayPal worked in the end but the cashback hasn't tracked.

  • The last two times I tried this, it didn’t track and I was using the TCB app and following all the rules. Have to mess around cancelling and ending up with less than I paid from their refund. Not worth the hassle imo so just a warning!

  • how to avoid autorenew?

    • +1

After you receive cashback (probably in about 3 months), you can cancel auto-renew in your account.

      • Do you really have to wait until after?

  • purchased and waiting for the tracking.

    • +1

      tracked at 1:47pm,nice job topcashback!

  • Same purchased and waiting for the tracking.

  • Anyone been able to get this to work with cards from either Up Bank or Revolut? Website is reporting transaction declined for both. Support saying an issue with the bank.

      • Thanks for the suggestions, unfortunately didn't help me. Up Bank confirmed they blocked the initial transaction so got them to put in a temporary allow, however every successive attempted transaction I've made has never actually made it to the bank (Up confirmed they only got one attempted transaction).

PureVPN seem to be blocking my attempted payments somehow. I've tried different emails, passwords, browser, IP, etc.etc. Pretty lost with it now. Don't want to give in and try a card that would have international transaction fees!

For clarity, the error I am getting is "Error Detected This transaction was declined. Please contact your bank or try a different card."

Seems like Revolut has worked for someone else, might try that again with a fresh incognito browser session and new email

        • +1

It's a nightmare, I've posted about this many times. Have to use paypal which gouge you hard on the transfer rates, so your profit goes from like $40 AUD to $30 AUD. Up to you if it's still worth it.

I've tried across like 7 bank accounts with different cards, it just never works .

          • @Sgav89: This is a strong reason to have Wise and Revolut account.

I have USD balance in my Wise account and always paid exactly the same amount for this transaction through Paypal. So, USD 109.95

        • Revolut worked, created a US dollar account and converted the required balance from AUD before purchasing VPN

          • @Paul B: Thanks for the suggestion, this eventually worked for me, I had to pay via PayPal with Revolut card (paying via credit card directly didn't work no matter what I tried) and it only charged my Revolut account the US$109.95 because I had already transferred that amount into USD.

  • What if I purchased it in the past 30 days but I did not receive any tracking for it. Would I still be eligible?

    • Yes as there is no tracking.

If you haven't done yet, you can cancel that order and request for a refund from PureVPN within 31 days under their 31-day money-back guarantee.

You would buy again using a new email address for PureVPN and the same TopCashback account.

  • I bought one of these earlier in the year, do I just use the same TCB account, but a new email address/account for PureVPN to take advantage of this?

    • +1

Yes, new email address for PureVPN and the same TopCashback account for cashback.

  • +1

Update from last post has tracked in 30min purchase $163.89 cashback $213.05 profit $49.16 woohoo thanks topcasback i never have tracking issues with you guys great stuff thank you .fyi Macq card used. 2year deal +6.

  • Does this work for returning customers with expired subscriptions? Or does it have to be exclusively "new" customers?
From all the comments it seems like existing customers are eligible but just want to be sure?

    • The terms do state New PureVPN Customers, old accounts with expired plans are not new customers. You just make a new account with a new email address. Make sure you sign out of an existing account first, and then use an fresh email (you can still use an email alias or the gmail + trick.)

    • +1

@itsTricky83 As mentioned by scrimshaw and in the post description, use a new email address for PureVPN and the same TopCashback account

A new email address for PureVPN is considered as a new customer.

      • +1

        Thanks for clarifying @trixieb 🙏
Kinda hoping for a "Returning customers" deal but might consider singing up with an alternative email.

        • any particular reason you are hung up on staying with the same account?

if you're using gmail you can create new alias emails by adding dots or appending a plus with characters after. see here

          • @Undercut 2241: No particular reason other than I am getting forgetful in my old age. I really should just go with an appended version of my own email.
I do also have another Gmail account I could use too. Thinking myself out of it, haha.

  • +1

    Error Detected
Unfortunately, we cannot process your request at the moment.

    Anyone else getting this?

    • +1

      These comments here may help.

      • +1

Tried again using the same hsbc card via apple pay worked. I also updated the email to use a gmail (with dot alias) instead of my own domain.

  • Never used TopCashback before, but used to use Cashrewards heaps. is Top any good?

    • +1

TopCashback has the best service out of the 3 cashback sites on OzBargain. The rep is tightarse who used to work at Cashrewards. Please note that if you buy a VPN service, it is excluded from referral bonus sign-up.

      • +1

Yeah, I remember NordVPN not allowing both cashback and referral either.

Ah solid, I remember tightarse being a rep for CR also. Thanks :)

  • Payment error here with HSBC and CBA.

    • @neoleo Do you know the fix? I had referenced your previous comments.

      • +2

Okay I'm usually fine with one redirect, but THREE is a bit much lol

        • (profanity) me I thought I was going crazy haha.

      • No. I gave up after trying those 2 cards.

      • @dubcmj

starcub has mentioned about Apple Pay works. So, if you don't have Paypal, try Apple/Google Pay as merchants (include PureVPN) cannot see your real card number. Also change your email address such as normal gmail address for example.

Try to clear your browsing data in your browser too (All time, not just the last 15 minutes for example), but don't tick "saved passwords" if you use Chrome browser for example.

    • Same, getting this error using HSBC card

      • +1

Tried again using the same hsbc card via apple pay worked. I also updated the email to use a gmail (with dot alias) instead of my own domain.

  • +1

    Got tracked within 18 minutes!
