1061

Deal is back! 130% Cashback Offer for New PureVPN Customers. Offer ends on Sun 18th May 11:45pm AEST. I checked with the rep.

  • Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 28 days (4 weeks). Check your TopCashback account to confirm last purchase date.
  • PureVPN is excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds.

Last offer was on 18-20 April.
T&Cs state 1 purchase per member every 28 days (4 weeks). Changed from previous 30 days.
Please use a new email address for PureVPN to be eligible for cashback.

If you have purchased from the last offer in April:

Date Of Last Purchase Date Eligible To Buy
18th April 2025 Fri 16th May 2025
19th April 2025 Sat 17th May 2025
20th April 2025 Sun 18th May 2025 by 11:45pm AEST when offer ends

My Tips:

  • For best value, choose Max 2-year plan US$109.95. 5-year plan and add-ons are excluded.
  • Pay with a card without foreign transaction fees.
  • If you use PayPal, PayPal may charge a currency conversion fee. It seems not possible to change currency to USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD.
  • If your order doesn't track or you're not happy with PureVPN, please cancel and request for a refund from PureVPN within 31 days under their 31-day money-back guarantee. If you cancel for non-tracking, you can buy again but use a new email address for PureVPN and the same TopCashback account.
  • You can cancel auto-renewal after you receive cashback.

TA's Tips:

  • Prior to using TopCashback, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, and avoid browsers such as Brave. Ensure you accept cookies on PureVPN's landing page if requested, which holds true for any retailer.
  • Also important to remember that should tracking fail for whatever reason, please cancel using their free 31-day money-back guarantee policy. No point lodging a claim to possibly have it rejected by PureVPN as attributed elsewhere.
  • A new email address for PureVPN is considered as a new customer.

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Cashback is eligible only on 1-year, 2-year, and monthly plans (Standard, Plus, Max). Cashback is ineligible on 5-year plan, Teams multi-user plans, and/or add-ons.
  • Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 28 days (4 weeks). Check your TopCashback account to confirm last purchase date.
  • PureVPN is excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds. Reference the Tell-a-Friend terms for more information.
  • Cashback can only be earned by customers opening a new PureVPN account. Renewals are ineligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on payments made with Crypto currency.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Cashback is calculated and paid on the advertised cost of the plan only. It will exclude upsold products, GST, other taxes, credit card or PayPal surcharges.
  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • You must always return to TopCashback and click the pink cashback button through to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.
  • Any accounts that engage in fraudulent orders/activities to game/cheat the cashback system will be banned and cashback forfeited.

Good to know

  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • If an order is cancelled / returned / exchanged / modified, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.
  • To be eligible for cashback, all transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted/negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.

      • No. I gave up after trying those 2 cards.

      • @dubcmj

starcub has mentioned about Apple Pay works. So, if you don't have Paypal, try Apple/Google Pay as merchants (include PureVPN) cannot see your real card number. Also change your email address such as normal gmail address for example.

Try to clear your browsing data in your browser too (All time, not just the last 15 minutes for example), but don't tick "saved passwords" if you use Chrome browser for example.

    • Same, getting this error using HSBC card

      • +1

Tried again using the same hsbc card via apple pay worked. I also updated the email to use a gmail (with dot alias) instead of my own domain.

  • +1

    Got tracked within 18 minutes!

  • Will it effect the CB if cancel auto-renew right after signup?

    • Another comment seem to suggest cancelling auto-renew after the CB tracks in a couple months time.

  • +1

$172.26AUD charged on revolut mastercard via Apple Pay, $213.05 tracked

    • With Revolut, did you manually transfer the AUD to USD first? I did that, then used Paypal to process the Revolut card

I'm guessing alternatively you let it charge your Revolut card in USD and you have sufficient AUD (e.g. $173+ in there at the time?) and Revolut does the same kind of conversion?

      • I just used Apple Pay - it charged in USD and I paid whatever the USDAUD rate was at the time of the transaction. Revolut has a 1% fx fee on the weekends unless you're premium/metal

  • I got one of the 5 year plans a while ago, and after a while no matter what country I chose I’d end up being routed out of like, Nigeria.

PureVPN seems to be a scam now. But hey, no complaints about free money on the cashback!

    • +1

I haven't downloaded or used this VPN. The 5 year plan is now excluded for cashback.

For best value, choose Max 2-year plan US$109.95. 5-year plan and add-ons are excluded.

  • almost free money, whats the catch? am i the product?

    • Of course. They pray you forget to cancel autorenew 🤷. They can get your browsing history, etc. We can use a separate unused browser to buy this. Put a reminder to cancel or at least use a disposable virtual card like Wise/Revolut that we can remove after this transaction.

purchased and cashback tracked. Thanks OP for sharing.

After a lot of hard work, I’ve managed to get Pure VPN configured into my pfsense router.
The max speed that I have been cable to get is 130mbps on a US Server. I have gigabit internet. Hope this helps if someone is wanting to know this intel!!

Thanks TA. Order tracked in 25 mins.

    • Paid A$172.09 (Purchase amount $163.89 in TCB)
    • $213.05 Cashback
    • Profit $40.96
  • Anyone been paid out for the last one? I've had it track successfully, however still concerned it won't be paid out?

    • +1

The last offer in April is not due for payment yet until July or August. It is "pending" and "estimated payable in 16 weeks". My February/March order has been confirmed in May. My January purchase was paid in April.

I've done a few of these PureVPN offers with TopCashback only and they have all been paid in about 3 months. Cashback would be paid out as long as it tracks and you use a new email address with PureVPN for the purchase.

    • +1

don't worry, my last years one took a little over 3 months to receive - this is the standard time - don't expect fast turnarounds with cashback sites. topcashback is very reliable and has been operating for a long time in aus so don't worry. you can check the post history on ozbargain with topcashback and see how far it goes. if they scammed they would've done so long ago.

Another successful track in about half an hour here.

I see a few comments about waiting until the cashback has been paid before cancelling auto-renew. That's fair enough.

When the time comes - how do you cancel the auto-renew? In the PureVPN portal under subscriptions, there's a button to 'cancel subscription' - is this it?

    • following; on second thoughts I should have paid using a disposable card for this

    • Yes, cancel subscription

  • Just curious if we are to use Revolut to pay for this do we need to have enough USD dollars ready for payment for Revolut will automatically convert it all for you. I have read somewhere that Revolut charges fee if convert on the weekend as well. Any tips are welcome. Thanks

    • I haven't tried Revolut for this transaction. Maybe Revolut will convert your balance into USD if not enough USD balance. I am not sure about weekend fee as I haven't used Revolut on weekend …

      • +2

Revolut's fee schedule (https://www.revolut.com/en-AU/legal/standard-fees/) says as of this writing (under "Exchange" heading):
        * Two conditions need to be met for free currency conversion. One is "fair usage" limit (can only convert $2k AUD/month - I guess this means AUD charged to your acc at conversion) and two is "During market hours" (Sunday 6:01pm and Friday 4:59pm, New York time - best use a time zone converter).
        * If conditions both met (if even one is not met, then this doesn't apply), conversion is free.
        * If one or more of the conditions isn't met, a fee applies (0.5% to 1.5%). Cheapest is over fair usage and also inside market hours. Most expensive is both over fair usage limit and outside market hours.

I tried putting the conditions and the effective fee into a table below (combining the "Market hours", "Fair usage limits" and "Standard Account Exchange Fees" from the schedule linked):

Under $2k AUD (as charged to your Revolut account) converted this month Over $2k AUD (as charged to your Revolut account) converted this month
During market hours (after Sunday 6:01pm and before Friday 4:59pm, New York time) Free conversion/$0 Revolut fee 0.5% Revolut FX fee
After market hours (after Friday 5pm and before Sunday 6pm, New York time) 1% Revolut FX fee 1.5% Revolut FX fee

        Hopefully this helps!

        • Thanks. Wise is better without the fee and small limit …

          • -2

@neoleo: Wise is only cheaper if you convert large amounts and more than AUD$2000 in a month.

If you stay under the 2k limit it's zero fee on revolut and thus cheaper compared to the fee Wise takes. For AUD$170 -> USD, Wise charges a 1.96% fee which it states on their front page calculator

            • @Undercut 2241: Wise card fees are much lower than 1.96% (currently less than 0.4%), the link you posted is for sending to a bank account
              https://wise.com/au/pricing/card-fees

Revolut uses a worse exchange rate compared to Wise so generally Wise + fee is equivalent to Revolut with no fee. Once Revolut adds extra fees it is worse

If you want to get the best deal you need to compare Wise/Revolut/Visa/Mastercard just before making the transaction, at any point in time one of those four will be best

              • @pennypacker42069: Thanks for letting me know about the wise card fees. You're right it does look like less than 0.4% fees. I was completely wrong about the 1.96% fee.

However both Revolut and Wise use very similar exchange rates. Checking myself, currently Revolut does actually have a tiny bit better exchange rate than Wise at 1AUD = 0.639 vs 0.638 but they're basically the same - this would matter more for large transactions however.

With the addition of the Wise fee this would swing the advantage in Revolut's favour. On weekends Wise would be better of course. This is all assuming you're under the 2k/month limit for Revolut.

I am not familiar with using Visa/Mastercards for international exchange, I have never considered them before.

Currently, it looks like Visa uses 1 AUD = 0.64389 and Mastercard is 1 AUD = 0.64389 which are equal and is way better than Wise/Revolut? This seems really good? Then you pick a bank with no international exchange fees on the card and then isn't that the best? If this is the case then the only use of Wise/Revolut is non-immediate, non-transactional purposes like sending others currency or storing it for a trip right? Am I getting this right? This is the first time I'm hearing about something being better than Wise/Revolut.

                • @Undercut 2241: From previous comments, it appears that Wise and Macquarie cards gave the most profit in the PureVPN offers. I don't have those cards and received less profit on the same day with the same tracking amounts in the TopCashback account. I had paid directly without PayPal and used cards without international transaction fees.

                • +1

@Undercut 2241: The 0.638 rate already includes the Wise fee, without the fee Wise has a better rate.
It looks like you are using the wrong rate for the credit cards (AUD -> USD instead of USD -> AUD)

                  The current rates are:
Revolut 0.6394 before fees, 0.6331 after weekend fee
Wise 0.6404 before fees, 0.6380 after fee
                  Visa 0.6383
                  Mastercard 0.6386

So right now Mastercard would be the best but the rates are always changing. Revolut is only viable if you are converting without fees

    • -1

Speaking from personal experience, it will automatically convert it all for you if you don't have existing USD. They do charge a 1% fee on weekends, you can see the pricing breakdown on the page before you convert it. This is still cheaper than Wise fees at 1.96% for AUD$170

  • I made the last purchase on April 20 at 22:54 but it did not track until 00:02 on April 21 which is the date listed on my TopCashback account

Can I sign up on May 18 or not?

    • This is AEST time?
I am inclined to say yes, since your purchase was technically on the 20th.
But, if @tightarse or @trixieb can confirm would be better 😅

    • 00:02 was confirmation email from Topcashback, right? It means your transaction was before 00.00 as it took some time to get tracking confirmation.

      • Times are AEST

Even though we can on see it will have been more than 28 days the system could still flag it as invalid depending on how it has been programmed. To make everything more confusing the website says April 20 but the app says April 21.

Just strange that they would have another promotion after exactly 28 days if 28 days is the limit

        • +1

I've messaged the rep about your date issues. As others have mentioned, you bought on 20th April so technically would be fine to purchase on 18th May.

Perhaps the limit was changed from 30 days previously to 28 days in this offer so we can all purchase again since the April offer. I had checked with the rep on the expiry date of this offer and eligibility from the last offer. Hence I created the table to avoid confusion.

  • Paid via PayPal, hasn't tracked in 2.5 hours :(

Did you use android phone, iphone, ipad, Windows or MacBook?

You need to change your settings in your device and browser too.

If still not tracked until tomorrow, you can ask for refund from PureVPN. Try again after you change some settings.

    • Same here

      • Your transaction maybe failed to be tracked because of some settings in the browser, adblocker, etc. If so, ask for refund from PureVPN with reason like you need the money back etc. My transaction was tracked in 20 minutes.

You need to change certain settings before using any cashback link. Read my tips to change settings in different devices (android, ipad, etc.) here:
        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/16447367/redir

        @wizza13
        @dubcmj

        • @wizza13 @dubcmj Sorry to hear. I also had non-tracking in the past.

You would cancel and request for a refund. Log into your account, under "Subscriptions", Choose "File a refund". As neoleo mentioned, the reason is you need the money.

PureVPN may not cancel and refund straightaway. There may be several emails from different staff to persuade you to stay with offers. You simply repeat your request to cancel and refund as you need the money (under their 31-day money-back guarantee). You will get the refund after a few emails.

You can sign up again but please use a new email address for PureVPN to be considered a new customer for cashback.

  • Paid with CBA debit card, payment went through straight away, cb tracked in about 30min. Took a little effort to set it up for torrenting, all works well.

  • Tracked in 20 minutes using Vivaldi mobile browser, Paypal dan my Wise virtual card in Paypal as usual. I still use gmail address with . (dot) in between.

Vivaldi browser is similar with Chrome browser. Just need to change some settings to ensure tracking success.

For anyone who failed with tracking, read my tips to change settings in different devices (android, ipad, etc.) here:
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/16447367/redir

    • Thanks for the tips. May I ask:

      • The reasons for choosing Vivaldi over Chrome
      • You have mentioned successful tracking with Chrome in the past. Have you done much cashback purchases via Vivaldi and would it be better than Chrome?
      • I had used PayPal a few times for VPN purchases (with a non-Wise/non-Revolut card). PayPal usually charges a currency conversion fee e.g. about $8 more versus non-PayPal use. PureVPN doesn't allow you to select USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD to avoid this surcharge (unlike AliExpress). Was wondering how you avoid this PayPal fee using a Wise card. Is it because you paid with USD balance in your Wise account? Would it be the same with using USD balance in Revolut? I don't have Wise or Revolut. Thanks.
        • I used Vivaldi browser because I want to try it for this transaction and for privacy reason. I rarely use Vivaldi. Vivaldi browser is similar with Chrome browser as it is another Chromium variant. I use Chrome mobile browser as my main browser in my phone mostly for reading news, etc. Maybe most people who use android phone also use Chrome mobile browser as their main browser, or maybe Samsung browser if using Samsung phone. I use Firefox browser mostly for Ozbargain and paywalled news like AFR etc. (with Bypass Paywall Clean extension). I use Kiwi mobile browser for checking any interesting events in Facebook Event menu, also sometimes reading Facebook posts (especially Facebook Group from my country). Previously I used Edge mobile browser (Chromium variant too) for PureVPN Germany and USA, so more rarely use this browser.

        • This is the first time I use Vivaldi browser for cashback purpose with no problem. The settings are similar with Chrome mobile browser. Just consider it for privacy reason too.

        • I have AUD and USD balance in my Wise account. No additional fee using Wise virtual card through PayPal. So, exactly USD 109.95. If I use Westpac card for example, maybe I'll be hit with additional forex fee as PureVPN is considered overseas transaction in USD currency. I haven't tried Revolut for this transaction.

        • Thanks. I should get a Wise card.

      • Personally I use clean desktop Firefox with any extension as advised by TA before. Has been working so far.

Chrome with incognito mode still causing problem even if you disable adblock for incognito mode.

  • How do you know if it has tracked? I have received no confirmation and it doesn't look like TCB has a click history feature?

    • +1

When your purchase has tracked, you would receive an email from TopCashback with the heading "You've received cashback in your account." The email says "Good news! Your order has been tracked".

Your order details will show in your "Earnings" page here.

The click history feature is not visible in the TopCashback app. You can view it on the TopCashback website on your phone or PC. Here is the link to "Clicks to Merchants". It shows the last click to any retailer and it updates with each new click.

To view all your clicks, please go to the missing cashback claim page here. Select the clicked retailer on the claims page (provided the click was made in the last 100 days).

Tracking for PureVPN can be up to 2 hours. Hope yours is tracked soon.

If your order doesn't track, please cancel and request for a refund from PureVPN within 31 days under their 31-day money-back guarantee. This is recommended rather than submitting a missing cashback claim. Please see my comment here regarding the refund process. You can sign up again but please use a new email address for PureVPN and the same TopCashback account.

      • +1

        thank you, very helpful.

  • Btw, if your bank blocks this VPN transaction, maybe because PureVPN uses dodgy domain such as purevpn.slv.io before redirect automatically to purevpn.com. I saw it. Or maybe because PureVPN company's headquarters is located in BVI.

The solution is paying through Paypal or Apple/Google Pay. It's better for your own privacy and security too. If your bank card has been compromised because of this transaction or other overseas transactions, it's safer to use Paypal or Apple/Google Pay as merchants don't know our real card numbers. I highly recommend everyone to use Wise and/or Revolut virtual disposable cards for this kind of transactions and any online transactions if there is no Paypal or Apple/Google Pay options.

See you in 28 days? 😆🤞

  • This is ponzinomics.
Be careful if you need a seat when the music stops.

  • +2

Thanks OP! My CC got charged $172 and $213.17 tracked by TCB app after 25 minutes. These ripper deals keep the cash rollin’ in all year, mate—like a tradie on overtime but without the sweat!

  • I bought, but then noticed something odd which is that I can't add a new withdrawal method on TCB because it's greyed out, and the method I previously added has been removed.

I've never actually withdrawn before, but for around a year have been using TCB instead of SB or CR because TCB has microscopically higher rates of cashback on Amazon…so I now have quite a lot of funds that would be withdrawable if I could add a method of withdrawal.

I'll submit a ticket, but does anyone know what would cause this?

Hopefully it isn't some thing related to the fact 2 family members are using TCB on the same IP. The exact same situation recurs with SB and CR, and we've never had a problem with either of them over many years of use. Obviously there comes a point at which it's unrealistic that so many members of the same household would be using the same site, but 2 is not a reasonable place to draw that line.

And if that is the reason, they should send some communication to indicate "you are banned" or "you are banned conditional on providing 3 forms of ID and proof of your blood type" rather than silently preventing me from withdrawing, and then absorbing my referrals for months and months when I could have been using SB or CR instead. They would know that the likely outcome of a soft ban of the latter type is that they get to take the full amount of any cashback generated before I noticed the rug pull, since any site shady enough to pull such a thing (or incompetent enough to just accidentally make it impossible to withdraw) is not to be trusted with any further personal information.

    • +2

Hopefully it isn't some thing related to the fact 2 family members are using TCB on the same IP
No, not that as we have multiples via our home.

      • Thanks. I had a look through the terms and conditions and couldn't find any reference to households, the only relevant rule seemed to be "one purchase per person". As for how they would know this without some sort of privacy-violating thing being done (e.g. merchant saying to the TCB "this person's account is registered under the following name", or the site receiving ID from users), I don't know.

Their terms and conditions do say "we may request ID from you to confirm your ID", though it's unclear under what conditions this would be done. It's hard to believe anyone would be silly enough to send copies of their passport or drivers to a site like this.

At any rate they didn't request anything from me or make any communications at all, aside from continuing with the usual email advertising spam, before silently blocking me from adding a withdrawal method.

      • My family member got banned from TCB when trying to withdraw PureVPN funds, so I would certainly accept you may lose your funds.

    • +1

Hey mate sorry you’re experiencing this, idk if it’s a glitch or there’s actually something offending from your side but whether it’s intentionally or not, reach out to @tightarse who is arguably the best CS Rep you could ask for. He handles TCB’s affairs here on ozb.
I persoally don’t have an insight as to what might have caused that.

Reiterating what Borg says, I have 2 account that I manage via the same iPhone (mine), made an account for me and and one for the mrs, have been with TCB since 15 May 2024 and generated 3.5K and 1.7K on both accounts respectively. Not a drama whatsoever. I think 2 per household/IP is acceptable given there’s at least commonly 2 adults in a household. Have never been asked or suspected to the point we have to show ID or whatnot

      • Thanks, this is a really helpful response. I'll send a PM to tightarse and let you and others here know how I go.

        • +1

Lastly, your comment and personal issue is not a valid reason to neg this “month-in-month-out” ripper of a deal which a number of ozb users have been able to take advantage of regularly.
If you’d be kind to revoke your vote 😊 much appreciated.

Have a blessed week ahead and hope you fix your issue!

          • @noelhoi: Respectfully I am going to disagree.

I looked through their long T&Cs and can see I'm not breaching any rules.

However, even if I looked through their T&Cs and thought "oops I am actually breaching a rule" I would still keep negging them.

If they ban someone from withdrawing they should actually make this clear, rather than simply making it look like a UI bug (greyed out withdrawal option), which draws users to continue using their site over SB or CR without realising there is a problem. I have never been banned from SB or CR but some googling shows that banned users at least get a clear indication that they are banned. On TCB even now there is still no sign I am banned other than the fact I can't add a withdrawal option.

I've never had a problem with CR or SB, indeed when things went wrong with deliveroo rug-pulling their gift cards SB came through quickly with a refund. Here I feel like not only is TCB not protecting me from a rugpull, they are actually the ones doing the rugpull!

            • @Kara-Murza: I've messaged the rep tightarse with your withdrawal issue. Let's wait to hear back from tightarse before jumping to conclusions if you are breaching any rules or banned or TopCashback doing a rug-pull.

Two members in the same household is fine with TopCashback which is common with a couple. I had also checked with the rep.

As noelhoi stated, tightarse is the best rep. He used to work at Cashrewards.

            • @Kara-Murza: Would you be able to message tightarse with your email address so he can look into it? Thanks.

              • @trixieb: Thanks, done!

@Kara-Murza: Hi and thanks for sending me your details. Also thanks to @noelhoi & @trixieb for the tag. I'm responding here for transparency.

There's definitely nothing wrong with your account nor have we blocked anything. The issue with the greyed out "Pay out now" button is 100% at your end. I've just tested this across multiple browsers including the TCB app and cannot replicate. Here is a screenshot of your actual payout page from my end showing you can definitely withdraw your available funds.

Do you perhaps have an AdBlocker enabled and if so, turn it off. If not, please delete your browser cache. If that fails, try via an incognito browser tab or via the TopCashback app. Also ensure you don't have a VPN active. Lastly, please try disabling your Wi-Fi using mobile data instead to eliminate router or ISP conflicts.

Please let me know which of these worked. Thanks in advance.

@tightarse: Thanks for the quick response especially on the weekend. Glad to hear @Kara-Murza is not banned and TopCashback is not a scam lol

You live up to the reputation as the best rep :)

@tightarse: Thanks for your quick response. I revoked the neg in thanks for your quick response, in acknowledgement of your comment that "There's definitely nothing wrong with your account nor have we blocked anything" (this is the most important thing to me), and in faith that the UI bug within the website that shows me greyed options can be worked out.

The screenshot you showed matches how it has always been for me - the button is green and redirects me to the Payout page.

The button works fine for me using any method, but the problem remains as per my original comment "I can't add a new withdrawal method on TCB because it's greyed out". It's the words "Bank transfer" and "Paypal - Add paypal details" that are greyed.

That remains the case even when I tried the other things you mentioned.

@Kara-Murza: Thanks. I can't check this now to confirm as I've literally stepped out again for dinner. I'll ping you tomorrow via PM and we'll sort it. Please don't worry. Cheers!

                      • @tightarse: Cheers TA, all the best with your dinner and look forward to hearing back from you tomorrow.

@Kara-Murza: Thanks for removing the negative vote. I had spent a lot of time writing up this offer and answering questions and happy to see the neg removed.

I've used the three cashback sites in the last few years. Haven't used Cashrewards or ShopBack as long as you but have found TopCashback to be reliable with great service from tightarse.

Hope your withdrawal issue will be sorted soon. All the best.

@noelhoi: Thanks so much for your support. As you have posted deals, you know the amount of time and effort it can take to post a detailed offer such as this one with 101 T&Cs to ensure tracking and non-rejection, plus contacting the rep.

It had been awhile since I used Topcashback but I saw this deal after my NordVPN ran out.

Bought it and 10mins later it tracked.

After being tracked, I checked my Topcashback account and my bank details were also greyed out and it kept taking me to the profile page.
But the profile page was asking for a new username and secret question.
So I chose a secret question and added a new username.

After that, I was able to add bank details. Is this the same thing that is happening to you?

      • Thanks, it's very kind of you to suggest this but no dice for me. I changed my username anyway but it didn't do anything.

It's a sign though that the greying out thing may be something they use to indicate more than one sort of issue.

        • Are you trying this from the app?

I've found that tapping on "Payout" will go to the page to pay out any available balances (../account/payments/) which doesn't allow you to edit details, while if you go to "My Profile" and then "Payout Details" (../account/paymentdetails/) you can view your payout details.

          • @chorong: Thanks, this is helpful. I found though that even when I change details there to other bank accounts or add a paypal it doesn't change anything on the payments page - it still greys out both "Bank transfer" and "PayPal" on that page.
