PureVPN: 130% Cashback for New PureVPN Customers @ TopCashback AU

1040

Exclusive 130% Cashback Offer for New PureVPN Customers. Deal expires on 20th April 11:45pm AEST.
Last offer was in Feb. Cashback for offer in Jan was paid yesterday.

Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 30 days. Check your TopCashback account to confirm last purchase date. PureVPN is also excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds.

My Tips:

  • For best value, choose Max 2-year plan US$109.95.
  • Pay with a card without foreign transaction fees.
  • If you use PayPal, PayPal may charge a currency conversion fee. It seems not possible to change currency to USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD.
  • If your order doesn't track or you're not happy with PureVPN, please cancel and request for a refund from PureVPN within 31 days under their 31-day money-back guarantee.
  • After you receive cashback, you can cancel auto-renewal.

TA's Tips:

  • Prior to using TopCashback, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, and avoid browsers such as Brave. Ensure you accept cookies on PureVPN's landing page if requested, which holds true for any retailer.
  • Also important to remember that should tracking fail for whatever reason, please cancel using their free 31-day money-back guarantee policy. No point lodging a claim to possibly have it rejected by PureVPN as attributed elsewhere.
  • A new email address for PureVPN is considered as a new customer.

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Cashback is eligible only on 1-year, 2-year, and monthly plans (Standard, Plus, Max). Cashback is ineligible on 5-year plan, Teams multi-user plans, and/or add-ons.
  • Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 30 days. Check your TopCashback account to confirm last purchase date.
  • PureVPN is excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds. Reference the Tell-a-Friend terms for more information.
  • Cashback can only be earned by customers opening a new PureVPN account. Renewals are ineligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on payments made with Crypto currency.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Cashback is calculated and paid on the advertised cost of the plan only. It will exclude upsold products, GST, other taxes, credit card or PayPal surcharges.
  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • You must always return to TopCashback and click the pink cashback button through to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.
  • Any accounts that engage in fraudulent orders/activities to game/cheat the cashback system will be banned and cashback forfeited.

Good to know

  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • If an order is cancelled / returned / exchanged / modified, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.
  • To be eligible for cashback, all transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted/negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.

Referral Links

Referral: random (4105)

Referrer gets $35, referee gets $10 (after $10 of earned cashback within 180 days of signing up).

    • +1

      Yes, same :D

Today's PureVPN purchase has been tracked in 23 minutes :)

I wish we could get this promo everyday (just a dream) and also from many more VPNs with profit :P

    • +1

Late to the game, but I'm on board… Thnx.

  • be prepared to be spammed & harassed for upsells. It's how they make their money.

    • +7

I've done a few of these deals. Haven't had that many spam email. I've more spam from JB Hi-Fi and Kogan. You can probably unsubscribe and cancel the account after receiving cashback.

      • +1

every time i start the app. I'm off their multiple lists now. you don't get upwelling opening the apl?

        • +3

Sorry thought you meant the spam from email. I haven't downloaded or used PureVPN. I signed up for the 130% profit. I don't use a VPN of other brands either.

        • Many apps do this. Nord, Surfshark, Glasswire, Malwarebytes just off the top of my head.

    • +1

you don't need to use their service. Just pay and then collect cashback.

  • When I used them they were useless. Specifically, their kill switch was useless. I would often find that I was no longer connected to the VPN server but still with internet access - i.e. bare-arsed naked. Are they any better now?

    • +4

I haven't downloaded or used PureVPN. I signed up for the 130% profit πŸ˜‚
      Will ask @neoleo How's PureVPN?

      • I don't use it. Only tried it previously for YouTube to check if there's advertising with certain servers but not good. NordVPN is still better.

Expecting a rugpull from these guys one of these days

    • +1

Same, hasn't happened yet tho. Got a few pending which should hopefully get paid out end of next month
edit: Payable now, thanks OP read your post properly haha

    • Well, they can sell customer's data, browsing history etc. to advertisers, ad broker etc. Such valuable data …

Maybe increase the amount of customers. Then, sell the company for profit to the next company 🀷

  • +1

Great deal. Thx again OP. U seem to be always first to know every deal! But how does this 130% cash back mean? We pay, for example, $100 for 2 yrs of plan, and will get cash back of $130?? $30 profit? How does this work out? I don't understand….

    • +1

Hello again. There was a comment in the other post about PureVPN offering China IPs (although limited). Perhaps you can try PureVPN and they are paying you to try. I signed up for the profit but haven't used PureVPN.

It is 130% cashback of the plan (less fees). The best value is the Max 2-year plan for US$109.95. The actual profit you receive is usually a bit less than 130% cashback due to the exchange rate, type of card used (with or without international fees), if using PayPal (currency conversion fee) etc. Cashback excludes those fees. The amount shown in your TopCashback account is in AUD.

Members that have a Wise card seem to report the most profit or close to 130% cashback. I don't have this card. Please see my comment in the last offer comparing the discrepancy in profit between 2 days probably due to the exchange rate difference and card used.

    • +1

Just bought. My TopCashback account shows purchase as A$164.30 with cashback A$213.59 (which is 130%).
My bank charged A$173.67 (with no foreign transaction fee). I don't have the best card and this amount will vary with your card type and bank.
      Profit is $39.92 ($213.59 minus $173.67).

      • Same for me. Happy! But the down side is, it doesn’t bypass the Chinese great firewall with pure provided Chinese IP option. Still blocked. Anyway, make some money is never the wrong thing. Will keep it for now.

  • I have done this once and got the money, but the only way I see this making sense if this was some big money laundering scheme.

  • +2

If they are paying me to use the product it makes me think, maybe I'm the product.

    • VPN service make insane profits, they can afford it.

    • Maybe they are playing the long game and hope people forget to cancel πŸ˜‚

    • +1

why do you need to use their product? we're just here to collect cashback. "using" the product is not a requirement for the cashback.

    • Do you agree that cashback companies collect tons of your data by paying you little commissions if you care. The shopping data is number 1 valuable. Facebook, Apple, Google, and now X have been doing it for years. Minimise the exposure is what I need to do.

      • who cares? i'm not a celebrity

        • People care as it caused $b in the last 2 outbreaks.

  • Signed up, why not.

Cashback being tracked already 213 cashback from 164$ purchase can't complain

  • Safe bet is to use Gpay ( with 0% international fee ) and not disclose card detail?

    • +1

Currency conversion fee and worst forex rate from your AUD card to purchase it in USD …

Better use Wise virtual cards or Revolut disposable virtual card. After payment, just replace the virtual card with the new virtual card numbers (Wise).

  • +1

can we use the same card from previous deal? just email address needs to be new?

    • +2

Yes. Sign up with a new email address and use the same card to pay.

      • +2

        great thank you

  • Seems like tracking happens within the hour after purchase and gets confirmed between 2-4 weeks after purchase from previous posts. Of course, ymmv.

    • +1

In previous deals, tracking has been from 40 minutes to about 90 minutes.
The "confirmed" time frame is usually more than a month, probably in about 2 months and then "payable" in about 3 months. They have a 31-day money-back guarantee and it is usually "confirmed" after 31 days. My last purchase on 1st March is still pending, not confirmed yet.

      • Me too.

  • Need this but for shopback again lol

Thanks for your tips which reminded me to cancel my sub from over a year ago (also with 130% Cash back and tracked)

    • Their cancellation process was a bit annoying

  • +1

Good deal. it contributes a positive cash flow all over the year

  • +1

The only possible reason I can think of for this arrangement is that PureVPN is going to be selling and want a higher valuation of "active" customers. If they are willing to falsely pad their numbers, they are probably willing to whoever is the highest bidder regardless of ownership.

    • Never thought of this. Definitely a good way of increasing their subscription numbers

  • Has anyone used it in China to get around the Great Firewall?

    • Please see comment here.

    • +2

I'm not sure whether trixieb's linked comments are a yes or no, as it seems like the opposite desire to me (isnt that person wanting to appear in china?).
But for me personally, i travelled through china recently on stopover to Japan, At least while connected to airport internet it didnt work to bypass the great firewall for me. Might be different if you are actually travelling China and have a travel sim or some such, not sure.

    • +1

      I tried. Didn't work

  • +3

I use Zip disposable cards. While they do charge a $1 or so FX fee it means the card can't be charged again.

    • Great tip!

  • +1

    Thanks, tracked within 30 mins

  • +1

Bought this in the last deal mainly for free money (which has been paid out a little while ago), but it actually came in handy in Japan, as some phone games have troubles playing the global versions while in Japan. Using this to appear as if i were in Australia worked great for playing those games.

  • They seem to have changed their 2FA to use email only - I kept getting invalid code when trying to set it up. Have been using my own 2FA code generator for the previous account with no issues though.

  • I’m not sure why, but my order is not tracking. I followed all of TA’s tips and guidelines

    • I purchased at 12:33pm AEST, which was 2 hrs ago, and am still waiting on tracking also.

    • Same after a couple of hours. Frustrating as this is the 2nd time in a row and last time the refund from PureVPN was less than what I paid

    • +1

      @brandeeenie @Alinnia @lars06

Sorry to hear. I've also had non-tracking before. If still untracked after several hours, it is recommended you cancel with PureVPN and request for a refund. PureVPN will try to get you to stay but inform them you need the money and want to cancel for a refund under their money-back guarantee. You may have to repeat a few times that you want to cancel and need the money. They will refund when you repeat your request.

You can sign up again but please use a new email address for PureVPN to be considered a new customer. That's what I did before and it tracked the second time. Good luck!

A few more tracking tips from TA:

My purchase tracked in 21 minutes. I used TopCashback app on the phone, Chrome, mobile data and no antivirus or VPN.

    • @brandeeenie @lars06 Did you guys happen to pay with Paypal too?

      • +1

Nope. Debit card and I even saw the referrer part of the url. Still didn’t track. I think I’m done with these offers now

    • @brandeeenie @Alinnia @lars06 @randomuser5436

Which device did you use for this transaction? Android/iphone, windows/macbook? See tips below (for Chrome, Edge, and ipad for example). Adjust the settings accordingly to your device.

Usually I only use Chrome mobile browser (no add-ons/extension anyway) in my android phone for cashback transactions.

In the past, I also used Edge mobile browser in my phone for this same VPN promo. Adjust the settings accordingly. You can also use Chrome mobile browser for example as I use it regularly.

What I did is login Paypal and TopCashback account in different tab but same browser. Then click the PureVPN link in TopCashback website and fill the form like email etc. I chose Paypal and paid straightaway.

Tips for Chrome Mobile and Edge mobile browser (for Windows, adjust accordingly):
I think it's better to delete browsing data (all time for time range). To delete browsing data, tap Settings - Privacy, security and services - Delete browsing data - All Time for Time range. Then only tick:
      βœ“ Cookies and site data
      βœ“ Cached images and files
      βœ“ Site settings
If you don't mind, also tick "browsing history"

This will clear all browsing data in the browser safely without deleting your password for example.

In Chrome mobile Settings - Privacy and security:
βœ“ Third party cookies are allowed
βœ“ Send a do not track request OFF
βœ“ Use secure DNS: Automatic (don't use DNS from Adguard/NextDNS etc.)

In Edge mobile Settings - Privacy, security and services - under Security section:
      Tracking prevention OFF
      Block ads OFF
      Block opening external apps ON
      Do not track OFF
      Smartscreen OFF
Tap Site settings: Third party cookies are allowed

Then login Paypal (if you have) and login TopCashback website and search PureVPN and open the link to buy it.

      TIPS FOR IPAD
If you use ipad for example, try to follow my settings below. For Macbook, adjust the settings accordingly.

I changed Settings in my iPad to ensure tracking success. From Settings - Safari:
βœ“ Block Pop-ups OFF (not sure about this, just in case)
βœ“ Extensions all OFF. There are several Adguard extensions as I use Adguard app in iPad too. So, I turned these OFF. Also Paypal Honey extension OFF (if installed)
      βœ“ Prevent Cross-Site Tracking OFF
βœ“ Hide IP Address set as OFF. Previously set as "From Trackers"
      βœ“ Content Blockers OFF

      Then "Advanced" at the bottom:
      Under PRIVACY:
βœ“ Advanced Tracking and Fingerprinting Protection OFF
      βœ“ Block All Cookies OFF
βœ“ Privacy Preserving Ad Measurement OFF
βœ“ Check for Apple Pay ON
      βœ“ JavaScript keep ON.

Then open Topcashback, then open PureVPN link from Topcashback, fill the form and pay.

      • Thanks neoleo for the detailed write up and tips.

I used Edge on my desktop for the purchase that didn't track. I made sure I cleared my Edge's cookies and site data for PureVPN before purchasing. I've used this method few times before in the past and tracking wasn't an issue until today.

I did use a + in my email address when I signed up for this deal which could be the reason why tracking failed. Even though it created my account and payment went through, I noticed several people said they weren't able to sign up using a + in their email address for this deal (I only saw these comments after my purchase unfortunately). I suspect there has been a change in PureVPN's backend since Feb's deal because I've used a + in my email address during Feb's deal and didn't have any issues.

I did put through second purchase before this deal ended using my Chrome mobile browser, used a new email address with no + and paid using Paypal. Thankfully that has tracked successfully.

  • My transaction wont go through. I tried my ING, Ubank, and Revolut non-disposable card. Getting error to contact bank etc. Also tried via Apple Pay and same error.

    • Please see comments here and here when there were payment issues.

      • weird. i was using the same gmail on previous purevpn deal end of last year within the topcashback app :3

        • It is recommended to use a new email address for PureVPN as cashback is for a "new" and not existing customer.

          • +2

@trixieb: I understand. I usually just use [email protected] (example: [email protected]) as this will still redirect to my personal gmail and register as a new email on their end. Ive used this too many times on subscriptions and even purevpn. Unsure why it wont work now. Ill try a different device later.

    • +1

Both last time and this time I got a bunch of errors that said: "Error Detected - Unfortunately we cannot process your request at the moment."

I tried paying through Wise, PayPal & Google Pay.

For me, the fix was to type in the new email address manually instead of auto-filling it from Bitwarden Β―\_(ツ)_/Β―

      • Try to change your email for this. Certain emails don't work for PureVPN sign up. For example emails from Proton Pass, Firefox's mozmail, other temporary emails, and I think email with + sign also 🀷

        Try normal gmail for example.

      • LEGEND! This worked for me haha! That was exactly what I was doing in the beginning and I typed it in this time and it worked flawlessly. Cheers matey x

  • Got it on a previous deal, actually a decent VPN for ping times. They use Global Secure Layer in a lot of locations which has really good peering.

  • +5

I bought the Max 2-year plan for US$109.95. My purchase tracked in 21 minutes. I used TopCashback app on the phone, Chrome, mobile data and no antivirus or VPN.

    • Same thing happened to me. But I paid exactly $109.95 in USD using Revolut. All currency conversion was done prior to purchase so there shouldn’t be any additional fees. So the $164.30 AUD purchase feels very dodgy.

      • PureVPN appears to charge a conversion fee when they report in AUD to TopCashback.
In the past, when I used PayPal (with a card without international fees), PayPal also charged me currency conversion fee and I was out of pocket by another A$8 for that offer. I was unable to change the currency to USD in PayPal to bill the card in USD instead of AUD.

        • In a previous offer my 130% cash back was on the full USD amount in AUD.

          • @vlo: Don't know why yours is different this time.
All my PureVPN transactions in the TCB account are reported in AUD with 130% cashback on the AUD amount. I did a few orders. I don't have the best card. Wise and Revolut cards give a better return.

  • Yeah something wrong, tried Up Bank couple of cards which failed so used PayPal which worked but has fees unfortunately, now can't even login to PureVPN. No tracking from about 4 hours ago but PayPal been charged, seemed to work smoothly for people who got on early.

    • Sorry to hear. I didn't get in early. Bought after 2:06pm AEST.

      • Please see my comment regarding refund request and tracking.

      • Please see comments here and here when there were payment issues.

  • My NordVPN is running out soon and wondering if I should move to pure or resign up with Nord when another cash back offer comes around. Is there a major difference between the two?

    • I buy PureVPN for profit and haven't used.
NordVPN appears to be a better VPN according to members here. @neoleo prefers NordVPN.

    • Currently there's 100% cashback for NordVPN through Cashrewards. There are also 100% cashback for CyberGhost VPN, ExpressVPN, and PIA through Topcashback.

You can choose 1 or have them all 🀷 with 100% cashback anyway.

When 1 VPN is not working properly, people can use other VPNs as backup.

    • Buy Pure for profit but i would rank it the lowest vs Surfshark, Nord and PIA. Their apps are kinda buggy.

      • Travelling to China mainland in 2 weeks. Would anyone know which VPN works there?

  • Anyone make a point of downloading app and signing in to get cashback? I always have but wonder if simply making the purchase is enough
    Thanks!

    • If you're talking about the PureVPN app, I stopped doing that 3 accounts ago :-)
I do check if it tracks within an hour or so (usually it's quick, if it didn't track in 1 day you need to ask for refund asap so you don't forget).

    • +1

I've never downloaded the PureVPN app so it's not necessary. I used the TopCashback app on the phone to PureVPN website, Chrome, mobile data and no antivirus or VPN. My purchase tracked in 21 minutes. Allow a few hours for tracking.

  • +1

Paid $109.95 USD = $173.10 AUD converted, purchase showing as $164.30 in TCB, tracked $213.59 = $40.49 profit. Thanks.
Previous PureVPN I did was also just approved.
