PureVPN: 130% Cashback for New PureVPN Customers @ TopCashback AU

760

Deal is back. Exclusive 130% Cashback Offer for New PureVPN Customers.

Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 30 days. Check your TopCashback account to confirm last purchase date.

TA's Tips:

  • Prior to using TopCashback, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, and avoid browsers such as Brave. Ensure you accept cookies on PureVPN's landing page if requested, which holds true for any retailer.

  • Also important to remember that should tracking fail for whatever reason, please cancel using their free 31-day money-back guarantee policy. No point lodging a claim to possibly have it rejected by PureVPN as attributed elsewhere.

  • A new email address for PureVPN is considered as a new customer.

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Cashback is eligible only on 1-year, 2-year, and monthly plans (Standard, Plus, Max). Cashback is ineligible on 5-year plan, Teams multi-user plans, and/or add-ons.
  • Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 30 days. Check your TopCashback account to confirm last purchase date.
  • PureVPN is excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds. Reference the Tell-a-Friend terms for more information.
  • Cashback can only be earned by customers opening a new PureVPN account. Renewals are ineligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on payments made with Crypto currency.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Cashback is calculated and paid on the advertised cost of the plan only. It will exclude upsold products, GST, other taxes, credit card or PayPal surcharges.
  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • You must always return to TopCashback and click the pink cashback button through to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the - TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.
  • Any accounts that engage in fraudulent orders/activities to game/cheat the cashback system will be banned and cashback forfeited.

Good to know

  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • If an order is cancelled / returned / exchanged / modified, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.

Referral Links

Referral: random (3925)

Referrer gets $35, referee gets $10 (after $10 of earned cashback within 180 days of signing up).

Reminder that checking out with AUD via Paypal for this merchant isn’t possible, NO OPTION to choose our currency of choice.
Use a no-fee card if you’d like to avoid getting slugged the premium crappy PP’s forex rate.

    • will using Gpay will have a layer of "card protection" ??

I'm still waiting for my November purchase to get paid out. We'll see

    • +2

23rd November purchase? If so, mine has been paid out several days ago.

    • +1

30th November one was paid out for me.
The January one is in Pending state.

    • Please check again. PureVPN purchases in Nov were paid on 20th Feb.

    • +1

still waiting on December 2nd which marked as confirmed week or two ago but not payable yet

      • +1

Dec 2 here also, confirmed but not payable

    • purchased on Nov 25 and got paid last week …

  • Any first hand experience on how PureVPN compares to NordVPN?

    • +4

I've tested both in terms of international servers, PureVPN is noticeably slower for browsing/streaming. Also much worse latency for gaming.
I'm only here for the profit

      • +2

        Spoken as a true ozbargainer!

      • Which plan is best to maximize profits?

        • Most expensive one: Max plan for 2 years

    • Every website and app detects PureVPN and blocks you, it’s terrible

  • How does purevpn define a 'new' customer? Just a, new email address?

    • Yes. Please see TA's tips in the post description.

      • Oh. Thanks! I swear that wasn't there before haha.

        • If a post was updated after initial post, you can check what revisions were made.

          • @johnmelb: It was always there (also with my previous PureVPN posts). There isn't a revision.

          • @johnmelb: Just revised with expiry date on 1st Mar.

  • Surfshark didn't allow incogni cashback last time but this one had something similar with the MAX.

Might just get it for the MAX

  • What is the typical time frame for the status to change from order tracking confirmed to cashback approval for PureVPN purchase?

    • +3

      About 3 months.
PureVPN bought on 24th Nov 2024, confirmed on 5th Jan 2025 and payable on 20th Feb 2025.

  • Had a few that tracked but withdrawal requests were denied.
    Buy at your own risk.

    • Sorry to hear. Did TopCashback give you a reason? Thought they would inform you why.

When you mentioned "a few", only one transaction once every 30 days per member is allowed (from T&Cs). Does not stack with signup and referral bonuses.

Edit: Just wondering if the transactions had turned "payable"?

    • Same, tracked and can't withdraw. Very risky. won't touch again.

      • +1

Do you mean it had turned "payable" but you can't withdraw or is it still only "confirmed"? Did TopCashback give you a reason?

    • +1

how many accounts do you have?

    • +3

does the tracked transactions turned into payable?
TCB transaction have 3 stages: pending, confirmed, payable
only payable ones can request for withdrawal

      • Its tracked and payable. Tried to withdraw and they denied the withdraw.

    • How many times did you sign up?

I mean, OP does clearly mention this in his post

Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 30 days. Check your TopCashback account to confirm last purchase date.

sounds like PureVPN is identifying multiple cashback attempts from the same TopCashback account and not honoring them.

      • 3-4 times. This was last year before they had those terms.

        A lost of about 400bux…

        • This would have been before Nov 2024.

Just wondering did you have more than one TopCashback account or bought 3-4 in the same month? TopCashback has a strict
          fair play policy.

Did TopCashback give you a reason?

          • @trixieb: Apparently it was due to multiple tcb accounts. I did a few referrals previously (some self-referrals), received an email that my account was to be locked and ignored the email.

The account was still working after that so assume everything was all good and continue to use as normal. Looks like all they did was blocked my withdrawals… So all my cashbacks are basically gone…

            • +1

@linkii: Unfortunately TopCashback is very strict on multiple accounts and self-referrals. Sorry that you weren't aware. It is mentioned in the T&Cs with the "fair play" policy. TopCashback UK, where it started, is massive and seems to check.

              • @trixieb: This is worrying. I have a family member who also makes use of this deal, in the same house.

                • +1

@drspy00: I know TCB allows two in the same household e.g. a couple as I've checked with TA. I read a comment from a member that four in the same household would go against the fair play policy.

                  • @trixieb: I know theyve got to have rules because someone could literally spend all day setting up emails, shopback accounts, referring eachother, signing up to these deals etc, and make thousands, if it was a valid thing to do. Maybe they should get you to upload an id or something to prove its different people though.

                    • +1

@drspy00: Reading the comments here, TCB has asked for proof with ID checks etc.

                      • +1

@trixieb: Good, definitely 2 different people, but family, even if I encourage them verbally sometimes to take part in deals! lol

                • @drspy00: Don't risk.

            • @linkii: Topcahback got really bad habit to terminate account. That means they take away not only bonus but also cashback which should belong to you. Not good, scared to use.

  • Does using the same card to pay disqualify you ?

    • +3

No, I've used the same card. Just requires a new email address and 30 day break in between purchasing for cashback.

  • Tip,use a no fee debit mastercard, about a 50c difference to visa currently.

  • +2

Just a heads up to any new members:

    T&Cs (also in post description):

PureVPN is excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds. Reference the Tell-a-Friend terms for more information.

  • This shows how companies are so hungry for data. (I have one subscription)

  • +1

    How's this compare to expressvpn?

  • Had the same deal before, tracked, works in China, the only downside is the shared IP addresses pool are detectable in some services, you can pay extra for an IP

    • Can you confirm 100% works in China? Easy and fast connection at full speed?

      I will travel soon

      • Worked but not too fast

      • +1

No, I have tried using PureVPN Android app in China and it doesn't work. Trip was in Jan 2025. I didn't pay for any extras like IP.

Some people may be reporting that it works because sometimes non Chinese SIM cards will tunnel all traffic back through the home country. Travel SIM cards likely do this too. You can use a locally purchased SIM card to test VPNs, or use public/hotel WiFi, all the hotels I stayed at blocked Google.

I run SoftEther VPN self hosted and it works fine in China. I have it running over port 992 in case anyone wants to replicate my configuration. TLS certificate is default one from SoftEther, but this doesn't seem to cause the VPN to get detected by GFW. I used my own DNS instead of SoftEther dynamic DNS, I didn't check whether that was blocked but in case it is you can just connect via IP address.

    • does it also have china servers, i.e. can I vpn into china? and if so how's the connection

      • They claim to have a server in Beijing, China. However sites like whatismyipaddress show an IP in Germany while VPN is connected and some other services I tried seem to think this as well.

  • +1

totally works, had mine paid out this week from the previous deal

  • So on the 2-year standard plan, at the cost of $57.95, you will get $73.34 cashback say in 3 months time?

    • Normally you want to buy the highest possible plan that's eligible for cashback if you want to maximize earnings. So for this deal, it would be the 2 years max plan.

I haven't purchased yet but I'm interested to hear from others how much they paid and what the cashback is this time around.

    • +2

get the max one, the price is in USD , so the max one will be $Au 176, cashback $Au222 in 16 weeks.

  • +3

    Tracked in <1 hour.

  • Is this VPN even any good or is it just the profit we're after?

    • +1

      Profit

    • It's passable at best, can't say I love their actual client, and manual WireGuard config credentials have a fairly quick expiry. (Ie. You need to pull new ones fairly often.)

      Ie. MONEH MONEH MONEH.

    • Profit

  • Just signed up to 2 year max account, charged 183.84 AUD through PayPal due to their exchange fees (should have used my mastercard)

Was unable to use any alias email providers I use, would not accept the payment so something to keep in mind. Will update when something comes through via top cash back.

    • What card was it? I used Macquarie Debit mastercard - $109.95 USD - $175.98AUD, about 50c cheaper than the visa card daily rate.

      • Was actually Macquarie, but I put it through PayPal like an idiot ha

Got the cash pending in TCB at any rate,

        $171.00 Purchase

        $222.30 Pending

        • This was me a while ago, but none of my visa/mastercards work, and two, you can't tell Paypal to charge in local (USD) currency, so you're forced to cop a bad exchange rate.

          • +1

@Sgav89: Yeah an additional 10 bucks for the privilege of using their exchange rate, daylight robbery hah - my mistake however.

            • @yn3qkz5h: I had donated to PayPal too. On the upside, PayPal hides the card details and can cancel auto-renewal in PayPal.

              • @trixieb: Can you cancel auto-renewal in PayPal before the cashback is payable?

                • @FatTofu: It is better to cancel auto-renewal in the PureVPN account after the cashback is payable but I'm not sure about PayPal. I cancelled auto-renewal in PayPal after cashback was paid.

        • Still a profit of $50+

          • @FatTofu: I paid ~178 AUD and only got 219.96 AUD tracked

            • @FatTofu: Same today. Yesterday's exchange rate was better.

              • @trixieb: isn't it better to use the worst exchange rate possible to get more cashback?

                • +1

@geshc: It doesn't seem to be. The profit on Sat was about $3.96 less than on Fri. The exchange rate was worse on Sat i.e. actually paid more in AUD. However PureVPN's tracking report for Sat showed the AUD amount to be lower than Fri. Hence the cashback was less as it's relative to that amount.

Here is a comparison of both days of the 2 year Max plan US$109.95 using a similar fee free card directly:

      • I got charged $175.98 using 28 degree just now as well

  • +1

Tip, use Mastercard - I used Macquarie Debit mastercard with google pay - $109.95 USD - $175.98AUD, about 50c cheaper than the visa card daily rate.

    • +1

I get error detected when using macquarie debit mastercard. Even through google pay. Odd.

  • +2

I just received my cash back from Nov/Dec24 deal. Made about $60 profit with a 5yrs plan

  • +1

Tracked within an hour. Also other deals pay out this week. Hope there are no issues down the line. Run out of emails, so far 3 tracked 1 paid out in previous deals.

  • Be careful! Can't always trust topcashback..had my money stuck before. Also, seen people not getting cashback for silly reasons despite of following everything!

  • Does anyone know how long a TopCashback payout normally takes? waiting to reinvest the money from my last VPN deal

  • I have good news and bad news …
Good news: Tracked in less than 1 hour for Topcashback AU 🙂

Bad news: Topcashback US had the same promo that I wanted to buy today, but cannot do it. In my previous posts, I informed that I bought PureVPN through Topcashback USA and Topcashback.de (Germany). PureVPN cashback from Topcashback USA has been paid through Paypal 😉. I wonder why clicking Topcashback USA link for PureVPN had showed PureVPN.de (Germany). It's term is only valid for PureVPN US website (not Germany).

So, I guess maybe now Topcashback.de (Germany) is under Topcashback USA? Maybe Topcashback AU rep @tightarse can confirm about this. So, I guess I cannot buy PureVPN through Topcashback USA anymore because it keeps showing PureVPN.de (Germany), instead of PureVPN.com for my Topcashback USA account.

Well, at least I bought this VPN through Topcashback AU today 🙂

    • Just checked TopCashback US but I'm not a member so not logged in. I was able to click to PureVPN US (not DE) via TopCashback US. 130% cashback US ends in 1 hour.

You mentioned that your original TopCashback US account was closed due to multiple PureVPN transactions which go against their fair play policy. However you managed to create another TopCashback US account, purchased PureVPN and had withdrawn successfully. I wonder if TopCashback detected that it's you again.

      • I wonder if TopCashback detected that it's you again.

I am not sure. If that so, my account would have been closed and cannot login anymore. But I can still login as usual.

  • +1

As per last time, doesn't accept my UP mastercard debit card or Suncorp Visa card or ING Visa card… (the 3 cards I have with 0% conversion fees).

    • Not sure if this comment and this comment would help.

      • +1

Thanks for trying. Still no joy with my cards. "Error Detected - unfortunately, we cannot process your request at the moment"

No issue with the email address I'm trying, it's gmail.

        • Sorry I don't use any of the cards mentioned.

          • @trixieb: Just tried with Macquarie Debit Mastercard (after reading others tried it).

Still no joy. I am forced to use Paypal with bad currency conversion :(

            • +1

@Sgav89: crickey, even paypal didn't work… what in the world.
