PureVPN: 130% Cashback for New PureVPN Customers @ TopCashback AU

1060

Exclusive 130% Cashback Offer for New PureVPN Customers. Deal expires on 20th April 11:45pm AEST.
Last offer was in Feb. Cashback for offer in Jan was paid yesterday.

Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 30 days. Check your TopCashback account to confirm last purchase date. PureVPN is also excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds.

My Tips:

  • For best value, choose Max 2-year plan US$109.95.
  • Pay with a card without foreign transaction fees.
  • If you use PayPal, PayPal may charge a currency conversion fee. It seems not possible to change currency to USD to bill the card in USD instead of AUD.
  • If your order doesn't track or you're not happy with PureVPN, please cancel and request for a refund from PureVPN within 31 days under their 31-day money-back guarantee.
  • After you receive cashback, you can cancel auto-renewal.

TA's Tips:

  • Prior to using TopCashback, disable/remove all 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, and avoid browsers such as Brave. Ensure you accept cookies on PureVPN's landing page if requested, which holds true for any retailer.
  • Also important to remember that should tracking fail for whatever reason, please cancel using their free 31-day money-back guarantee policy. No point lodging a claim to possibly have it rejected by PureVPN as attributed elsewhere.
  • A new email address for PureVPN is considered as a new customer.

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Cashback is eligible only on 1-year, 2-year, and monthly plans (Standard, Plus, Max). Cashback is ineligible on 5-year plan, Teams multi-user plans, and/or add-ons.
  • Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 30 days. Check your TopCashback account to confirm last purchase date.
  • PureVPN is excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds. Reference the Tell-a-Friend terms for more information.
  • Cashback can only be earned by customers opening a new PureVPN account. Renewals are ineligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on payments made with Crypto currency.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Cashback is calculated and paid on the advertised cost of the plan only. It will exclude upsold products, GST, other taxes, credit card or PayPal surcharges.
  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • You must always return to TopCashback and click the pink cashback button through to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.
  • Any accounts that engage in fraudulent orders/activities to game/cheat the cashback system will be banned and cashback forfeited.

Good to know

  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • If an order is cancelled / returned / exchanged / modified, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.
  • To be eligible for cashback, all transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted/negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.

Thank you for sharing the deal, @trixieb :)

  • -4

Mine didn't track. Ordered 4 hours ago.

    • +3

Sorry to hear. Please see my comment regarding getting a refund and tracking.

  • -1

You’re a bit premature with your negative.
Maybe go over everything and get in touch with Cashback and inquire first.

    • -8

That's what the negative is for.

My purchases with Cashrewards always get through. So it's not me, it's Topcashback or PureVPN.

I probably won't inquire, Topcashback says it'll take them months to track a claim, and it might not even be a success. Will ask for a refund.

      • +1

As mentioned in the post description and my other comment,TopCashback recommends you cancel the order under PureVPN's 31-day money-back guarantee when it doesn't track. There seems to be a risk of rejection from PureVPN.

I also had non-tracking issues (unrelated to PureVPN) with Cashrewards and ShopBack. Non-tracking can happen with all the cashback sites and not isolated to PureVPN or TopCashback, as per many comments on OzBargain.

      • +2

You better revoke your negative vote as this deal is working for 99.9% of the ppl AND this is an AWESOME PROFIT deal!
If it doesn’t track for you first time then CANCEL and RE-DO!
Has personally happened to me too in the January deal, no need to neg the hardworking OP for sharing it, especially when it has been mentioned in the TIPS part of the deal how to deal with your issue.

        • -1

I already cancelled and received a full refund. Not going to re-do, as I don't think it's worth the time. It might not track for the second time as well.

I don't get the backlash from the people here though, It's just a negative, people should chill out. I shared my own experience and voted based on it. Yeah it works for 99.9% of people, but didn't work for me, otherwise it would be 100% not 99.9%! Me not voting negative will make it 100% which is incorrect.

Anyway, my negative was revoked by the "community".

          • +1

@randomuser5436: If it's tracking fine for everyone else is it more likely an error on your side or the system just singles you out to mess with you. PEBKAC

  • I am overseas now and I know it’s recommended not to use vpn when claiming cashback.
Will it tracked if we purchase from overseas?

  • Mine tracked at $213, $10 less than previous offers…. But free money I guess.

    • Mine too. $213.59

  • Each time no card works, unless you use it through PayPal.

Doesnt let you use + in your gmail email.

This time i made it to 2fa my Suncorp card, then it just stunning wheel of death and never went through.

Via Paypal 2 year max cost $180 AUD.

Worth it, but I wish they stopped playing games with the cards of five banks refusing to work.

    • Used revolut card no worries $172.96, used a . in my gmail with no issues either

      • Thanks. Good tip. Is Revolut card/account free? Looks like $9.99 delivery fee.

        • The delivery fee is for the physical card, you can use virtual cards without paying anything. Find a friend/relative who already has a revolut account and you can split the referral reward for a little bit of profit

    • I use Wise virtual card through PayPal too. It's better to use Paypal in my opinion.

PureVPN is located overseas, maybe banks don't like this company.

Just like Brick50 above said, use dot (.) between gmail works for this PureVPN sign up (I informed you previously).

      • Thanks, didn't realise . Worked like +. Good to know. Ta

      • Why is it better to use PayPal? paypal conversion rates are terrible, $7 more than using card directly

        • PayPal doesn't appear to charge the conversion fee with Wise cards.

          • @trixieb: Does it charge your card for $109.95 US or does it use paypals conversion rate though?

            As of this moment:
            Paypal: $1 AUD = $0.6161 USD
            Mastercard: $1AUD = $0.6396 USD

Paypal will not use the official/Mastercard/Visa conversion rate but they will use their own which is not favorable.

            • @Brick50: I have AUD & USD balance in my Wise account. PayPal charged exactly the same (took my USD balance) with PureVPN without any fee and no conversion. So, USD 109.95

Merchants (include PureVPN) don't know our real card numbers if payment through Paypal. It's the same with Apple/Google Pay. Maybe banks also only know that they deal with Paypal, not the merchants straight away.

            • @Brick50: I didn't use PayPal for this transaction.

However I had used PayPal for previous orders of PureVPN and NordVPN with a card without international transaction fees (not Wise).

PayPal had charged an extra $8 for PureVPN and $6 for NordVPN when compared to those members who paid directly. This would have been the currency conversion fee.

@neoleo I will look into getting a Wise card as it also appears to be safer for online purchases.

  • +2

paid $173.67 on my CBA credit card, $213.59 cash back tracked by TCB app after 20 min. Profit 23%. Thanks OP.

  • Since my purchase hasn't tracked for 9 hours I don't think it's going to track at all. So I'm going to do another purchase under a new email, hopefully that will track properly.

What do I need to do to cancel and request a refund from my first purchase that didn't get tracked. Do I use their "File a refund" button under Subscription page, or open a chat with them to ask for refund?

    • +1

File a refund would be fine to get the refund and would be my preferred option. I've done both. As mentioned previously, you would have to repeat your request to cancel and refund. Your reason would be you need the money. This is done via email. There may be several emails from different staff to persuade you to stay with offers but you simply continue with your request to cancel and refund. You will get the refund after a few emails.

      Hope your second order tracks.

  • Can we turn off auto renewal or does that interfere with getting cashback?

    • +1

No idea. To avoid the risk of rejection, it is best to turn off auto-renewal after the cashback is paid.

  • This or NordVpn on this offer? If I'm after using the vpn for 2 years too?

    • +1

      I would recommend both.
Based on feedback here, NordVPN is a better VPN and you would use it for the VPN.
PureVPN is bought purely for the profit (130% cashback) but not the VPN service.

      • Hasn't tracked yet and strangely it isn't deducted yet from my Amex either.
I've got the welcome email and access to portal. I'll cancel it once the payment goes through to avoid any issues.
Edit: my bad after reading the comment above this I checked TopCashback account and it has been significant increased matching the amount it should have been tracked for - I was just waiting for the usual email.

Should we take TopCashbacks account view as all good or ideally we need to have the email for tracking?

Edit2: shows $213 under purevpn in TopCashback earnings. Just the email hasn't received. Suppose it is ok?

        • It has tracked when it shows in earnings. You don't need email for tracking. Is the email in the junk folder?

Just checking you are subscribed to emails. Under "My Profile", check that "Email Preferences" are turned on.

          • +1

@trixieb: Thanks for the tip! Apologies for my ignorance. It doesn't show in my "inbox" but when I searched TopCashback it came up as an unread email, still in "Inbox". Timing shows received ~20mins after purevpn welcome email. Remove the search and it disappears! Gmail really is acting strange..

      • I ended up just getting PureVPN and using it - so far it has been ok on my windows 11 machine and iphone. Had some trouble getting the latest win11 app installed but after several hours of trying to get it installed i ended up contacting support over chat (meanwhile i could still manually configure it on windows VPN). They sent me an older version of the app via chat (within minutes) and it is currently installed with ease with just what i need (bypass for local networks, kill switch and automatic connection on startup).
I don't need anymore complex setups or to have all devices at home behind the vpn (used to have pihole setup on cli with surfshark but realised i only connect to it from win11 machine anyway).
I'd try NordVPN next time on 100% cashback, once I get the cashback approved on PureVPN. Didn't wanna risk multiple parralel VPN purchases pending cashbacks and not getting the cashback approved for even one of them (if this doesn't get paid for any reason, i still have the VPN available for 2.5 years).

  • Been more than 12 hours and no tracking. No option for refund. Is it via chat

    • Log into your account, under "Subscriptions", Choose "File a refund". Please see my comment here on the process.

You can sign up again but please use a new email address for PureVPN to be considered a new customer.

  • Mine tracked straight away. I used Up but forgot to click USD so I was charged $180.90 Australian which sucks.

    • Up via Paypal? If so, doesnt let you choose currency (via paypal) for purevpn

I didnt think UP had good currency conversion?

      • Maybe that’s what it was then. Damn. I usually use Up but I haven’t compared to the visa exchange. I have U bank and suncorp too that offer free transactions. I’ll try to compare buying off aliexpress and see.

  • I just made a purchase of the 2 year plan, expecting expiry date of 18/04/2027 but the app is showing 18/10/2027? Anyone else experienced this?

    • +1

      Plan is 2 years + 6 months.

      • Ahh thanks.

Just my luck, almost 3 hours and no sign of tracking, even though at the end of purchase the app said it was tracked, but nothing in my history

        • Hello friend……did yours got tracked or not?……I never had a problem with tracking but when I did last night…..didn't got tracked till now….so I reckon it will not get tracked now…..

          • @ARUN365: My first purchase yesterday didn't track despite having no tracking issues with PureVPN in the past. I used Chrome on desktop and paid using PayPal.

I waited 9 hours then purchased a second time on a new email address using Chrome on my mobile phone with wifi turned off and paid using PayPal. It tracked successfully second time around.

I've now started the process of requesting a refund for my first purchase.

            • @Alinnia: Thanks for the reply….when did you made the second purchase….like today in the afternoon or morning?????

              • @ARUN365: My first purchase was yesterday around 12:30pm. Second purchase was yesterday aroind 9:20pm as I thought the deal was ending that midnight. I received tracking for the second purchase around 10:35pm.

Still havent received tracking for first purchase over 24 hrs later so I went ahead to ask for a refund.

                • @Alinnia: Ahhhhh….this time I am having a lot of difficulty getting this deal….all my bank cards are getting rejected….I tried Bankwest and even UBank…..as they both doesn't have international transaction fees but they are getting rejected…..any help what to do to get this deal….

          • @ARUN365: Still not tracking for me after 12 hours. Going to get a refund and try again with another email address.

UPDATE: Couldn't complete a 2nd order as it throws an error when I tried to pay with the same debit card and different email address. Ended up a big waste of time for me.

  • There seems to be a check on protonmail email addresses that is causing payment to fail.

E.g. if I try uihgeu1@proton.me that gets rejected but try again with marysmith01@proton.me and it works. If it's failing for you try to create another new email with a plausible sounding name.

  • Theoretically speaking can you just spend hours and hours a day making new accounts and doing this over and over again like a free money glitch? Asking for a friend.

    • Tell your greedy friend: No.

    • Your friend could be banned from TopCashback. The following is mentioned twice in the post description.

Only one (1) PureVPN purchase is permitted per member every 30 days. Check your TopCashback account to confirm last purchase date. PureVPN is also excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds.

This is also in the post description:

Any accounts that engage in fraudulent orders/activities to game/cheat the cashback system will be banned and cashback forfeited.

    • That's a lot of effort for little reward…

    • No. I tried this already with 7 purchases within 2 days in the past. Got banned from Topcashback USA, then asked for refund from PureVPN and got the refund back …

    • i think fine if it's like another family member but not obviously trying to game it with multiple accounts for yourself.

  • +1

Been using it for the last day or so, actually streams US Netflix/prime unlike private internet access did. Pretty solid for shows so far

Set it up on Amazon fire stick and streams US Netflix good, worked well on mobile and PC.

  • +1

Paid $109.95 USD = $172.74 AUD converted, purchase showing as $164.69 in TCB, tracked $214.10 = $41.36 profit. Thanks.

    • Sounds great. May I ask what bank card you used?

      Thanks

      • Nab rewards, no Int transaction fee

        • +1

Thanks for the reply. I paid with Macquire Debit and got exactly the same amount deducted.

  • Got a weird error saying that a purchase was already in progress and got stuck on a redirect page but still tracked. Hopefully it will be approved?

  • +1

No issues at all, used U bank debit Visa via Apple Pay and it tracked straight away! Thanks OP!

  • +1

Just bought: used Revolut debit Visa card. Paid $109.95 USD = $174.54 AUD converted, purchase showing as $164.69 in TCB, tracked $214.10 = $39.56 profit. Thanks.

  • If anyone have extra esim and won't be using, please do send it my way. Thanks. Will be heading to EU soon

    • don't think an e-sim is included with puremax subscription?

      • +2

There is a separate email with a free eSIM but I've deleted the email.

        • All good. Thank you. 👍

        • oh ok i've searched my 'all emails' in gmail with purevpn, i can only see welcome email, tracking email and 'lets get you started' email. free esim would have come in handy for me too :)

          • +2

@WhatsTheBigDeal: I found an email from the last Feb offer with heading: Your Free 1GB Data Awaits - Claim Now!

@Clementt I've 2 of them from that Feb offer because my first order didn't track and had to reorder. I'm out at the moment and will PM later.

          • +1

@WhatsTheBigDeal: You can try asking for the free esim through their 24/7 chat. They were able to provide one there.

  • +2

Just chiming in to say my January cashback was approved and paid out, so this is definitely legit if anyone in future deals is curious

  • I have used the free eSIM and when using the coupon it will active for 2 days even when you choose 30 days plan.

  • Does anyone know if deactivating the future subscription payments on the service affects cashback?

    • +1

Do you mean to cancel the auto-renewal? If so, that's fine as your account remains active for the full duration which I'll assume in your case is two years (or at least one).

      • Yes and thank you
