  • Cashback is ineligible on eSIMs, recharges, phones, bundles, accessories.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.

  • Boost is the only MVNO with access to Telstra's entire network.

also access to their crap customer service…

    • Not the crappiest I've encountered though. Most crap would be Lyca.

      • +1

Lyca reps are just in training to become Telstra reps…

        • As a long time Telstra customer, I've come across several helpful Telstra reps that are based in Australia. Have to call during business hours to get the Australian based reps (sometimes from the business section). The overseas call centre reps don't seem to be able to do much. Telstra business clients seem to get the best service and fastest speeds.

    • Does JB Hi-Fi Mobile have access to the entire network?

    Good luck getting the order to go through. I keep getting error on checkout. I’ve tried;

    1. VPN
    2. Mobile data / wifi
    3. Different browser
    4. Slightly different name
    5. Different payment card etc.
    6. Manual and auto address

Tried live chat and they can’t give me an answer. Frustrating. Appears to be a massive long term issue.

    • +1

      Same experience here.

      • Sorry to hear. @Krazyy VPN isn't recommended as cashback may not track.

I had this error issue with buying a SIM card from Telstra a few days ago. It worked when I used a family member's details with a different payment card, manual address on the phone with mobile data. I couldn't order with my details and changing the above you mentioned.

        • Tried the VPN as a last resort.

Just tried another family member and brand new Mastercard never used on boost before. Same error:

“Sorry, we are unable process your order. Please try again later.“

          • @Krazyy: This offer expires on 19th May. You can try again in a few days. Sometimes it works after a break.

            • @trixieb: Tried when the previous deal was posted on 07/05/2025 and left it again a few days and then didn’t try over the weekend…. Then tried again today. No love.

Last boost deal I doubt I had no luck using multiple different credit cards, but first try a few days later with a debit card worked. Maybe try a debit card if you’ve been using cc

  • Telstra no good in my area.
Any other providers with similar deals?

  • -6

De-Prioritised service they call the scraps from the dustbin.

Lyca is heaven compared to it.

  • unable to process your order!
    why?

    • Please see my suggestions in this link.

      • Still not working. So frustrating!

        • Same mate

    • Can't tell if TopCashBack recognised the transaction when the cash back was $50. Ordered 2 sims separatedly. First one went through the second didn't as I used I identical name and payment details. Had to use different name and account. Bummer I could have saved another $14. Wonder if its too much bother to send back refund and reorder?

      • How did you order? I tried everything!

        • Different name
          Different email address
          Different mobile
          Different DOB
          Different ID
          Slight difference in address text
          Different payment card

          Good but different.

          • @plapic: They don't verify the id, right? Also DOB can be fake as well?

            • @virtualds: Real ID is required for the 12-month Boost SIM for the delivery.

When you are on the checkout page:

              Identification
When taking delivery of your purchase, you'll need to show the same ID you used in your order – for security reasons.

              Identification type

              • Australian driver's licence

              or

              • Australian passport
  • +1

Just worked for me by adding everything manual (however, had to choose address from suggested list) and using passport instead of driving licence for identity verification and using debit card instead of credit card.

    GOOD LUCK 🤞🏻

    Godbye Boost forever!
Wasted so much money and time on non working roaming packs.
Today I wrote off my accumulated data and got a 1 year prepaid Voda deal.

Anybody got tissues for Boost as they are still crying.

  • Can I do this as an existing boost customer? Just port in/out with the new SIM?

    • As an existing Boost customer, you would port out of Boost into a different provider e.g. $2 Telstra SIM. Then port back into Boost with the new SIM as a new customer (and keeping your current mobile number). I've written the steps here. This offer expires tomorrow 19th May 11:59pm AEST.

  • hi guys i hav a question, i got a boost previously and it was a 12 months plan and now 9 months in, my data is running out, what will be the best way to get more data? the only way i can think of is to pay 39 bucks a month for 20gb until plan expires?

unless you have any other hack that would be great, i didnt expect to use 20gb per month.. long gone the days of 5gb/ month (shows yall how old i am!)

    thank you heaps.

It would be better value to buy this Boost SIM card than recharge $39 per month. As an existing Boost customer, you would port out of Boost into a different provider e.g. $2 Telstra SIM. Then port back into Boost with the new SIM as a new customer (and keeping your current mobile number). I've written the steps here. This offer expires tomorrow 19th May 11:59pm AEST.

There is a good 4 month offer from Felix and TopCashback here, if you don't mind Vodafone network.

  • +1

I used Lebara data only esim plan when I ran out Boost data. For the 3 remaining months you could get 40Gb for $22 per month.

    • +1

Thanks. Would add. If @muahaha2 hasn't used Lebara (Vodafone network) before and happy with Boost (Telstra network), I would recommend to continue with Boost.
There are several comments here that Lebara may not work as well for some people depending on their location.
I find Telstra to be the best > Boost > Optus network (also Amaysim) > Vodafone network. YMMV.

  • Anyone else getting a "something went wrong" message when trying to complete payment? I'm currently with Telstra pre-paid. I tried to sign up to Boost a year ago, and had mega hassles, and it looks like nothing has changed!

    • Yes, it's a common issue. It also happened to me when I bought a Telstra SIM. Please try some of the suggestions here. This offer ends today.
