    thankyou i bought one
    i had been looking for a 8tb+ disk as a backup for my nas and per tb this is as cheap as it can get

    I'm guessing if i get a helium one then it would be better than a wd blue

      Not even sure how that works. Sold by Amazon Au.. should be coming with Au plug. Mine is out for delivery, will let you know if thats US plug too.

      It’s not the Australian model. I tried to price match with JB-HiFi and they pointed out that this is a different model. The Australian Version is this one.

          I wasn't gonna shuck it. i am using it as an external storage. but now I have no choice. ill use my existing usb/sata adaptor.

          the nas picks it up, but wont allow me to format it :(

          ill try windows later. hopefully i don't have to stuff about with the third pin whatever that is

    hard drive arrived today without packaging, what a dumbass amazon. I specifically asked to be shipped in amazon packaging.
