Honestly not sure if it's worth it, but I have been wanting a secondary phone (along with my main iPhone) to also see what's happening in Android/Google world so I felt like this was a good entry price with a pretty good phone without paying the premium tax.

I believe it's in back order and ships from Amazon UK. Quick search shows close to all time low as far as I can find.

Not sure how people were getting this phone around this price (or maybe even lower?) with carrier deals but this is the best outright I could find.

  • Price doesn't seem too bad, considering it's currently $549 on the google store on sale for the 128gb model

Ordered this during black friday sale through Amazon UK (via Amazon AU). Still waiting for in stock update so you might have a wait.

Wow thanks for letting us know, wouldn’t have imagined a wait that long… since i am thinking this as a secondary phone, I guess I’ll be patient but haha.

      • Must have overheard me, lol. Order has finally been shipped, due on 7 Jan. Good luck!

  • I think Jackdeal site has it listed for 503.99, you can try to price beat from officeworks and use discounted giftcards if handy.

    • Office works does not have any stock at all.

Does officeworks price matches Jackdeal.com.au ? 2 weaks ago I tried to price match Galaxy A53 but denied by OW store manager reasoning that their phones are sourced outside Australia !
If they do, I am happy to go check again.

      • Definitely not. Officeworks head office and stores will deny Jackdeal.

Harvey Norman have it for $548 with 10% Gift Card for those brave enough to shop at HN.

  • It's only $50 more for local stock that you can walk in and buy today.

  • Op why leave us hanging with the life story? Is the second phone for your goomar?

Lol as I wrote in the description, it’s just so I can see what’s happening in the Google/android world. Just an expensive toy/ experiment really.

Nothing dodgy going on I promise 😅

  • Did anyone successfully get the Officeworks price match, if so could you please explain how to do it, because it is Amazon UK?

    • I have yes. Go to officeworks, show them the price on Amazon and say you’d like to price beat. They reduce it by further 5%.

(They will check Amazon on their computer and take a screen shot and attach it to their sale document or whatever. But that’s on their side. As long as they can see the same price on Amazon.com.au they will price beat it by 5%)

      • tried this twice now. both times denied because its UK/unable to confirm if its an AU model or some other international model.

        • Yeah, no go for me either. My local Officeworks said that because it's not "shipped from within Australia", they can't price match.
Really depends on who serves you at the store I feel.

  • Price dropped to $482.51

    • $457 price matched at office works if you can manage.

Dang that’s good piece for 80% of the new phones and Google pixel experience…
