      I used to love the chunky beef pies that aldi had. They changed the packaging and ever since they have been terrible. Worse than regular pies :( The decline of pies makes me very sad

      Filling is still good, but the pastry seems to be much thicker and harder.

      I still buy them, but tend to eat the top crust and filling and leave the shell for the bin.

      Shame, it used to be thinner and crisp rather than hard.

        Was thinking the same. I had the chicken, leek and camembert pies from Aldi the other day and I reckon they were the same as the Herbert Adams ones.
