25% off Strava Premium Annual Subscription A$74.99 (Was A$99.99) @ Strava

200
STRAVA2023

It's been quite rare to see a large Strava discount, quite annoyed I can't prepay my next year's subscription with this offer! But hopefully someone else will benefit from it. Here's how it stacks compared to other past promotions:

  • 26 Dec 2022: offer 25% off with code STRAVA2023 expiring 31 Dec 2022: link, equiv. $6.25 per month
  • Dec 2022: 2 months free with 12 month subscription expiring end of 2022: link, equiv. $7.14 per month
  • Previously you could gift someone (or yourself) 12 months and receive 2 months free. This is temporary disabled.
  • Jan 2021: 9% off with King/RichRoll/Citius/ONTHERUN codes - some reports on Reddit these were still working, but may be country-specific

Might be good if your new years resolution is fitness or health related

Samsung health is only fitness that is completely free unlike fitbit, apple and strava

      Nike run club?

Garmin watch owners get Garmin Connect for free. Not sure how it compares to Strava.

I have Garmin Connect and Strava. I don't bother with Strava premium anymore. Connect has all that I need minus the social aspect. And as you said, it's free.

        • +2

Social aspect is a good motivating factor

What do you mean? Apple only charges for fitness plus which is the video workouts. Everything else is free.

Strava premium isn’t necessary. It’s just extra stats and routes and some other features which isnt really needed for average users.

Haven’t used the others but i’m not sure what your complaint is about.

      • completely free

I had a look and Samsung health is almost identical to Apple. Apple fitness/activity and health apps are completely free and offer the same features as Samsung health. The only paid service Apple offers is fitness plus which is video workouts which Samsung doesn’t offer anyway and it’s not needed.

Strava is a different type of app. It is more an exercise social media app rather than an overall health service.

    • You are comparing a fitness aggregation/social media/e-peen measuring site/service (Strava) to a fitness app (Samsung health)? Strava is in no way shape or form trying to be Fitbit, or Samsung Health, or Garmin Connect, etc.

  • My subscription says $81.99. Shame this can’t be added on.

OzBargain it with a free account. FYI only basic functions, but does me.

    • +1

The free account is suitable for 90%+ of Strava users. Unless you're dead keen on training analytics, pedal power, etc…free is the way to go.

      Thank you lovely!

    • Yep, I did this

anyone figured out how to get it if already a monthly subscriber?

  • I thought Strava died off about 5 years ago… Why on earth is it still a thing?

    • +5

It most certainly is still a thing. It's the app that most cyclists use.

As the saying goes: If it's not on Strava, it didn't happen.

      I think you're talking about Endomondo…

It’s a shame you can’t use this to add an additional year onto a current subscription.

  • Doesn't work if you are currently a subscription user…

  • live on free Strava for over 5 years now. Had no idea subscription is THAT expensive, wow.
Never needed the Premium, all those $$ features are either super advanced or quite useless.
Not worth it IMO. Free account is plenty for 90% of users. Love Strava

    • Strava gave me a month of the full subscription service, for free recently. Didn't use it any differently than the free version. Gave me some prettier maps.

its worth noting with Strava premium that there is a Sundays insurance that covers your phone/cycling computer but only lasts 1 year so IMHO worth 1 year membership for that feature alone, then revert to standard :D
