You can now recycle unused MyNetFone devices, via the website, without that $20 - $40 admin cost that they used to have.
Details on the link, but it looks like:
1 - the owner of the device will pay the first monthly fee
* not sure if that means calls or the plan's monthly fee for the first month
* you can put the device on a Whirlpool saver if you are a Whirlpool member -> $0 first monthly fee
2 - you can donate credit if you like
Not sure how long this will last … but it can be a good way to get relatives and friends on (which may reduce your and their phone bills)
Normally you would have to pay administrative fees to transfer the device to someone else :P
