My suppliers are also indicating that they might miss shipments pre-CNY due to COVID ravaging the workforce and slowing production and handling.
If it's in a warehouse next to the sea or air port, then yeah, it might get out of the country in time.
If it's got a river barge voyage or road/rail leg to get to its departure port, then, it might not.
Aliexpress is pretty good about their shipping estimations, arguably you'll get it much sooner. Ive had plenty of packages be estimated for 2 months but i end up with it 2 weeks later. Makes for a pleasant surprise as i often forget what i purchased anyways. I also found public holidays didnt affect it too much. You might get some delays by a few days though. I think leading into christmas I had to wait a few days extra, but its already estimated to be at my place on wednesday.
I definitely have not had that same experience. Items with "AliExpress Standard Shipping" do tend to be delivered on time
