Purchased one from the previous deal post, and the only minor issue is that the USB-C Charging Port is recessed, so some cables doesn't fit.

    • Common with a lot of those rechargeable torch units, my Eufy doorbell is the same too

  • Doesn't work for me. Throws error on adding to cart.

    • Tested and still working fine on AliExpress App.

      • Will try the app. Might be blocked for me by Adguard.

    • I just bought a second ago mobile version of website. No issues

  • I'll try it for camping. Looks good from the comments.

  • Bought from previous deal - works really well and battery life of around ~4hr with basic setting.

  • Better than the $4 bunnings headlight?!

    • +2

Well I mean this has UP TO 11x potential* lumen** output and much, much better range.

    • Exponentially

  • +2

The dual led model looks like a similar price but it is hard 5decipher all the specs, it appears it's the same LED.

    • +1

That takes an 18650 battery, will be a bit bulkier

      • +1

Also is just 5000K so it will be a cool white, where as this deal has multiple colour temperatures

        • +2

Thanks for the replies, I don't mind extra bulk or the light colour if I get a brighter light.

          • +1

@Spendmore: I have owned this dual led model for a few months now.
Would not recommend for running etc. as is quite heavy.
Well pleased for my uses and build quality.
            Very bright.

            • @thunderduck: Thanks for the feedback. I wanted it for mountain bike riding so I might give it a miss.

              • +1

@Spendmore: No probs … I try to ride regularly.
It would be fine onroad but not so good for rough trail riding.

  • This ticks all the boxes except it's an unusual battery size

    • +10

At least it not propriety (looks at Olight), just a standard 16340 lithium battery.

  • Thanks op worth a try for 25 odd bucks.

  • Anyone know if it supports C2C charging? Always worries me when it has an A2C cable!

    • +1

I've charged mine a few times using C to C cables, and had no issues.

  • Anyone tried this with jogging at night?

  • thanks op, purchased one

  • This or the SP40

    • +2

      SP40 still uses Micro-USB charging.

      • The new version is type c charging

        • That would be the Sofirn HS40.

  • +6

I always feel light-headed when wearing these

    • I'm not surprised…"lightweight to wear for hours at a time"

  • What's the point of three shades of white light? I would rather white, red and green.

  • Arghh ive just been ozbargained. Bought a different model without a discount lol, i wanted more light than the single led model, but they look pretty good

I use mine all the time in the shed or around the house at night, great things to have

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003601158455.html?spm=a2… - H25L USB Rechargeable Headlamp 18650 Head Light Dual LH351D 1200LM 90CRI 5000K

    • Not an expert but this dual one looks good too?

      • Depends on the features and what you want to use it for?

The dual version pumps out quite a bit more light, but will be heavier, and doesnt have the magnetic end cap feature which is a good little extra

Its probably more about the brands ability to make a good product and going by a lot of the reviews it seems to be a pretty solid brand

    • Can you confirm if it Micro-USB or USB-C.

There's conflicting information on the product page (The main image shows USB-C but the rest of the images mentions 'Built-in Micro-usb charging port).

Based on the reviews, there seems to be a mix of both. I'm assuming old (Micro) and new (USB-C) stock.

      • I have just ordered mine so can confirm once it arrives

For something like this the port type isnt really a consideration, most of the stuff i charge out in the shed where this will be are micro usb's anyway

It pictures USB C but doesnt list anywhere I can find what type of USB cable it is

Although, more importantly I did find this key detail, Im so glad Ive ordered this headlight knowing that it comes with a Titanium watch strap for fit bit: this watch strap is made of high quality titanium alloy with a strong corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance, which ensures the safety of your little one

  • Great light. Bought one, then another for my wife to go camping, then another as a gift. Headband works really well, it is nice and light too. You can switch it to stepless dimming as well

  • Think this will help me a great deal working on the car!

  • -1

This is a good headlight but just be aware that the battery life of this model is not particularly long (too short for me). I think you get what you pay for in this respect

  • So no battery included.

    • There's options to purchase with or without battery (Price in the title includes battery).

1100Lux gets very hot, I doubt its that much. Anything over 1000Lux these days is usually some chinese BS brand that also sprouts magical rechargeable battery numbers. I call BS.
I have an 700LUX one that cost me $100. It needs an 18650 to run properly. It gets hot and the 3AH battery doesnt last long. So yeh, I doubt this one.

  • can any torch afficiondos help me with suggesting a decent dive torch? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/749252

    • You might have better luck asking over at budgetlightforum.com or the r/flashlight subreddit

  • Looks cool. I would have bought it if it went to Red light too.

  • code not working for me

  • +1

just received mine in under a week, amazing is all I can say. Wifey is pissed as usual but should be ok by the weekend, glad it came early during the week!

  • +1

Mine also arrived today. I was expecting it to arrive 1 month from China?

Super glad and happy with the service. The torch is super bright, especially for a compact unit.

    • Ye my Aliexpress orders has been arriving pretty quick (usually <2 weeks).

  • Mine arrived today. For anyone completely clueless on the headstrap, watch this review: https://youtu.be/kIrk9d96SIA

Loving the 27k colour will pair well with my other warm lights during camp.

  • Following the same link the price is now showing as somewhere in the AU $21 range. Am I missing something? Such as not the official sofirn store or the like? AliExpress website is confusing to my simple mind.

    • I believe the ~AU$21 is either for new users, GST hasn't been factored or no battery option.

Should be close to AU$30 delivered for standard user including GST.

      • +1

Thanks for your reply. You were 100% correct. New user got it for a smidge cheaper and tax hadn’t been applied. Got it for $24.32 in total however.
        Thank you!
