      MEL - SIN return $888 on Qantas website. Expedia can get you MEL-SYD-SIN for $800 when charged in Euro. Does expedia charge any additional fees?

    Some of the best J Class (Business Class) Fares I have seen from Qantas to LAX RTN in a long time. Don't go via the Qantas site but via Zuji.com.au, Bestflights.com.au to see the discounted Fares.

    Ozpete small suggestion you should post the departure city in the title as well, eg SYD-LAX, as other cities may have much higher prices eg ADL-LAX.

      But do try to book all sectors on "QF" flights. For example, QF3024 is a codeshare with AA231. If you book on "QF" flight, you will get the typical QF FF points and status, but if you book on the "AA" flight, chances are the FF earned will be reduced, and in the worst case, no points at all on some discount economy classes.
