Another year of OzBargain. Please use this post to submit feedbacks and request features. Again, no guarantee that requests will be responded or implemented, and often feature requests can take months to be pushed out, when there are other issues blocking them.

When someone posts that a deal starts tomorrow, it then shows as today @ 9pm for us westerners. Some visitors to the site might not see the 9pm, and instead see the blue "today" tag.
I wonder if there's any way to fix that? Short of putting a 3am AEDT start time
Is the problem resolved now? We have a flag to tick for deals where we don't want it to convert the start time based on timezones. A couple of upcoming deals that needed it, were missed or not ticked yet.

OzBargain has suddenly gone dark theme for me….. never knew it had one. Just plain old Chrome on Android and my system is set to light. Any beta option somewhere? Found the option. That's new!

I like my OzBargain white. Not choc orange.
Dark mode will use less battery power & easier on the eyes at night.
Once again, requesting the performance-based store ban system to be reassessed.
Clearly the community don't think the store should keep posting, and they're only doing themselves a disservice by persisting, but they're still allowed to.
Note: the latest post will be allowed 24 hours to collect votes before vote averages are calculated.
The bans issue at about 1am, after 24 hours have passed from the post, so check back later tonight/in the morning. It doesn't check each store individually once 24 hours hit, rather a whole batch at 1am or so.
I think current system works fine, IMO. Delayed vote display would encourage the activist/radical types to post more bs knowing that no matter how false it is, it'll stay up for awhile.
The people asking for changes to neg voting mechanism usually have an unpopular or contrarian worldview they wanted to air, not necessarily because its relevant, interesting, or helpful.
