Agreed, tempted to take apart one of my old 2ah battery to see if I can swap out the battery cells for some higher capacity ones.
I do a lot of DIY and electrical stuff, but I'm too chickenshit to mod power tool batteries lol, I wouldn't even try to take one apart

$100 for the jacket and $39 for an extra battery. Is that too much?
Considering the charger that came with the jacket costs $100 alone it's actually a bargain if you want to get into the m12 ecosystem without buying kits.

FYI, I ordered two for click and collect from Mile End in SA. They called to say there are none available in SA and they will be sending them to me from WA.
Just did the same for one battery, have not recieved the call yet though. Think I also got the last one in stock, as the website is now out of stock.
Seems the website was just glitching for me, recieved the call about posting it, but was told they were editing the website to remove express shipping, as Li-ion batteries cant be shipped via air. Also managed to order another one, so we good.
