If you're after an Android tablet that's larger than the usual 10" sizes then this is a good option at 12". It's certainly not a powerhouse compared to other larger tablets like the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro, but it is cheaper and still offers good specs that'll handle general usage, light gaming, media playback including Netflix in HD.

Featuring Android 12 (Magic UI) with Google Play Widevine L1 DRM for Netflix HD, 12" 2000x1200 IPS 60Hz display, 6GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 CPU, 7250mAh battery with 22.5W PD charging, 8 speakers with DTS:X Ultra, 5MP Front & Rear Camera, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 5.1 and USB-C.

Techtablets have reviewed the tablet in depth. The main pros are the unibody alloy build that weighs 519g and 6.9mm thick, 10+ hours of battery life, great sound speakers with bass, no bloatware and good performance for basic needs. The cons are that there's no 3.5mm audio jack, no microSD card slot and no GPS.

  • Wow, seems pretty light for such a big tablet.

  • The cons are that there's no 3.5mm audio jack, no microSD card slot

And they just had to ruin it.

Bugger. I was interested until no microsd card.

    • Only other option would be a USB-C OTG cable to either microSD or USB-A for accessing external storage.

      • and the 3.5mm audio jack

    • I use Bluetooth headphones and my current tablet has a 64gb card in it. It's perfect for me.

    • It's got 128GB and you can connect wired headphones to the USB C port - so both those issues are minimal 🤷🏼‍♂️

This is part of the problem. We are just accepting things that shouldn't be acceptable. The reason that the 3.5mm jack was removed was phone makers were claiming theres no room to put one due to cramped space. This is not an issue with a tablet.

Same goes for the microsd slot.

The usb port is a charging port. Having to use it as headphone port means having to have a dongle. And having to juggle between charging or listening to media.

Using Bluetooth introduces latency. Its solving a problem that shouldn't have to exist. Better if both a headphone jack and bluetooth are present.

To some 128GB is enough but to others it is not.

Again the issue maybe minimal to you but to others it just a head scratcher as to why they even omit these features.

  • I was interested until I saw the size and the comment "If you're after an Android tablet that's larger than the usual 10" sizes then this is a good option at 12". Good quality 10 - 10.5" tablets are hard to find as they are all these large sizes unless they are weak and underpowered.

    • What's your ideal size then?

      • What you did there. Giggity.

Very solid reviews online, and I could live with 128gb but agree that omitting the audio jack is a mistake

What’s the best cheap tablet around ?

    • What's your intended use?

        Video streaming, don't need Netflix.
