I waited this long for the hullabaloo to die down, I'm going to wait for the pro version now.

I waited 1 whole year to get hooked on to a good game, PS5 sat there eating dust lol I tried a few games and I was like I wasted money in upgrading, but now that I am playing HFW I feel like it was worth it lol
The speed and ease of use alone made it worth for me pre ordering. That and selling the PS4 pro at that time means I barely paid a few hundred for the ps5. Creating/switching/managing chats is so much faster, I got so frustrated at waiting for the PS4 to do things. The speed of the system alone was a good enough reason for me hey.
@Orion au: Yea same goes for PC gpus and xbox. Not much is changing at the moment. I will take huge system performance gains, quietness, and 60fps at variable resolution
@onlinepred: I too sold my PS4 Pro as soon as I got my hands on the PS5, haven't looked back and got a fair price for my PS4 to boot :)

Haha. I've been "waiting" to buy a 4k TV since 2019. First it was 4k LCD, then OLED, then QD-OLED, now Micro LED. It never ends, just need to jump in.
To be fair, if you weren't able secure a ps5 during the rush, it be highly unlikely you'll be able to get yourself a pro.
Some people are just built different when it comes to grabbing a deal. 😀

These are normal price. Nothing special or bargain about it. These have been freely available now for weeks if not months from Amazon, JB and EB at this same price point at 1 or all of these places over this time. No deal here.

Can I say that with 8% cashback it becomes slightly less than the old 749 price - I was in the market for a ps5 until i built a new pc and realised i just cbf to play gran turismo anymore… i'll have to become a forza guy but so be it. I hate having subscriptions and playing with other people sucks anyways - for that kind of pain i play war thunder. sad but gaming is aids now, no effort into making a game good (generally speaking, few gems out there) because it's easier to just pump the game up with loot boxes and online play modes.
Tell me about it… Overwatch is a clear example. $30 for a skin!!! Can’t even see it when you play!!!
Battle passes when done right should complement and provide a steady stream. Overwatch one is such a drag to even get to the end, unless you play endlessly.

Why are these still selling at premium? It's nearly 2.5yrs since its first release. PlayStation platform cycle is usually 5 to 6 yrs, so we are nearly reaching second half.By 2025 or 2026 there will be a new Playstation.
