Thanks OP. A shame there’s no GoogleTV app (not that I can see).

What has the lowest this game has been $20ish?

  • +1

I’ve wanted to play this for ages!!!! Cowabunga!!!!

  • +3

Oh damn!!! Loved this on games pass. Thanks op!

  • +2

Wow Netflix games really bringing some bangers

  • Awesome, great find OP! I just bought this on switch for Christmas and haven’t opened it yet….

  • +3

It has the original voice actors, plus a killer soundtrack.

It’s the perfect throwback to the original arcade games.

    • The OG was my favourite beat em up to play at the local cinema. It was crazy hard though.

  • +19

Has anyone asked why Shredder seeks revenge? Has anyone sat down with him to understand his pain and stop this endless cycle of violence?
This game needs to give players choices.

    • I've heard it's something to do with worms

    • he got crushed in a garbage truck by casey jones

    • I'm also pro choice

  • Is this similar to the OG NES game?
Cause I don't feel like smashing my phone ..

    • +4

No. It’s a new game similar to the original arcade game with new (retro) graphics. It’s very very well reviewed. Give it a try

      • +3

        Cowabunga then

    • +4

Pair it with a Bluetooth game controller

    • +4

The people who didn't pay for it like you did on PC and Switch presumably feel differently

      • -7

who says i paid for it?

        • +8

Oh, please share with us how you got it for free on PC and Switch so we can all benefit!

          Thanks in advance

          • +1

@DrC: Not free, but u can get it on xbx/pc for a few AUD on eneba

          • -4

@DrC: easy you just have someone gift you the game then you have it for free, but yeah I never paid for it. Also this verison of the game on mobile requires a netflix subscription, so once you dont have it then you can't play it no more. So its not "FREE" lol it most likely cost more than just buying the game if you sub to netflix every month.

Not everyone plays games on PC or owns a Switch. Some of us have girlfriends.

      • -3

People have wives and can still play 5 to 10 hours of video games. the key is to get a girlfriend or wife that PLAYS VIDEO GAMES!!! So just to add to your comment some of us have girlfriends that play video games, which makes what you say irrelevant and have time always to play games.

        • Last thing I would want is my GF to play video games

          • @BusMan247: Would you rather she watches Keeping Up with the Kardashians?

Worth noting that it has controller support too which is great: https://www.androidpolice.com/teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-s…

  • +1

This is also available on Xbox Game Pass (including Game Pass for PC) if you prefer to play it on the big screen.

  • Compatibility : works on this iPad

    Cannot Download App
TMNT : Shredder’s Revenge isn’t compatible with this device

    Boo! (iPad mini 4)

  • +3

Been playing this since this morning… the on screen controls are ok… but this game really desires are physical controller. So if you have a controller pair it up and play and kick some shell.

Although the on screen controls allow you do some of the combos easier than on a controller.

  • You need log into a Netflix account to be able to play??

    • +1

      Yes

  • Almost half a gig

    • +3

didnt even notice Netflix appstore has games app

    • Yeah they also released the strategy game from the same people who made ftl

      Into the breach.

      Was also free.

      • Yup and Into the Breach is definitely worth a look; fantastic game.

  • +1

My phone does 1080p out, wonder if would run ok on it to the TV

    • If there's no delay issues, that would be the ultimate way to take advantage of the free Netflix games, as they've got everything stuck on handheld devices.

  • +1

You can still play both of the game’s modes, story and arcade, and party up with random players online or with friends using a code.

For those that might have missed it, 'Immortality' is also available through Netflix. Not a game for everyone, but was well reviewed last year and works pretty well as a mobile game.
