This mob did not reply messages (pc did not arrive for one month) and had to ask eBay to step in for refund. It wasn't lost as the next day after the refund was processed they promptly ordered the delivery to be redirected back to them? Not impressed with customer service. Even after refund no explanation, just complete silence.

    • +8

So the only time they did respond was to recall the delivery? That's pretty shit.

      • And I suppose they did not contact to op at all…

@MetroCom: Yes, sure, patience and understanding from the original commenter due to the WA delivery issues would have been good, but a lack of a communication/responses from you when they contacted you is a (profanity) terrible look for a company.

          • +9

            @MetroCom: Mate, communication! communication!

Let the customer know what the hell is going on is the least of your job.

          • +16

@MetroCom: No reason to not get a response AT ALL. Needing ebay to step in is a big red flag for any ebay seller!

Can u imagine if one needed to claim warranty? Probably be ignored until warranty expires and then forcing buyers to file a consumer protection claim.

@MaxHashrate: A delay in delivery is literally a ctrl-c ctrl-v response that takes seconds, but I guess its better to argue with people on Ozbargain than actually provide customer service.

          • +8

@MetroCom: Wow. What a shitty reply from you as the rep. You have a terrible attitude.

Yes we didn't even contact him

I was running everything by myself till this month hence lack of energy and time

Not our problem. Zero communication is just wrong.

            • +1

@cute as duck: the seller could have just sent a message to every perth based buyer and be done with it

but if he let it drag to this point then it shows there's something wrong with their business practices

further we have a slew of ex lease buyers here and they can do a good job with $120 sff units but this seller is being sassy over a $500+ unit??

              good luck out there

          • @MetroCom: Awful response. It’s a shame seeing a business burn good will.

          • @MetroCom: Thanks for showing us how bad you treat your customers. good to know.

  • is this a good spec computer ?.. does these draw high power to run 24x7 ? thanks

80w TDP is bugger all. I run a 4790k (88w TDP) as a PFSense machine and I saw negligible increase on my power bill.

    • I'd guess under 40W idle. Not ideal, not terrible.

How could you buy from this mob with an attitude like this.

Pretty expensive compared to the M6000 Z640 deal.

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/735094

Which I got for just over $316.

Dropped a 2696 v3 in there for $120 too as well as a NVME for $60

No DVD drive but have one of those laying around.

Yeah that was a much better deal, gpu there was 10x faster (also 12gb vram compared to 2gb here) which is equivalent to a 1660/super in terms of gaming, though the system does consume a lot of power (solved with undervolting).

Thats a Sandy which you upgraded to Haswell. This is a Coffee Lake, and officially supported by Windows 11.

  • I'd like to see some more touchscreen deals please

Is the RAM that comes with these ECC RAM?
