You need to set up a Costco online account. Set to auto-renew on the account and show at service desk to receive the gift card.

Do you think you can go in and out multiple times to get $10 gift cards or visit every costco? I'm sure they can check but maybe they don't every time. I don't condone exploiting an offer but I do want to see how many times somebody can do this hehe
I did exactly that last year. Got $10 from Ipswich and tried again at North Lake they said no. 😔
@starcub: Depending stores I guess, Epping and Docklands staff only sighted your account page to see if you sign up and hand out the gift, they're supposed to tick it off on their end but don't seem to bother. Doubt anyone got paid enough in this day and age to computerised the paper list.

The guy checked my history "after" signing up and denied the gift for new last time. I suppose if you were lucky to bump into a lazy employee you might get the gift. Not worth the hassle imho

I am pretty sure I did this last year or the year ago - enabled auto-renew, got $10 card, disabled auto-renew.

I just rang Costco Kwinana/Casuarina WA and was told the $10 gift card when you auto-renew is for all stores Australia wide. P.S. Costco Perth didn't answer phone.

Went to the Perth airport store and they weren't doing it nor were they informed about itweird
I just got back from the Perth airport store. I'm a new member and was given a tote bag. The guy was only aware of the bag and not a $10 gift card with the auto renewal.
The Kwinana store told me it is a $10 gift card.
I also rang head office today about my membership and they are aware of the $10 gift card at all stores.
Perhaps you can try the Kwinana store if it's not too far.
I don't think Costco is our cup of tea.
Went to Coles and Woolworths after, as we got lost at Costco. Difficult to find where items are at Costco.
Honestly, their stuff are not as cheap as we thought after all.
I am the same, ended up going to Coles and Woolworths and you can get cheaper when they are on sale compare to Costco.
