I did that yesterday. You can open an account and get a virtual debit card in the app in around 15 minutes.
What account did you open? I assume just the westpac choice that needs 2k deposit a month.

Just a reminder you can actually use the Uber/Uber Eats gift cards to pay for previous trips/meals (placed within the last 2 weeks I believe?)
Go to your ride/order history, select "Receipt" for the transaction, then "Switch Payment Method". Select "Uber Credits", confirm, and then you're done!
You then get refunded to your original payment method.

Confirmed 30 days limit. If you try to switch earlier than that you'll get an error.
Tried on multiple trips. On the last screen, it comes up saying “ we are unable to switch the payment for this trip”
FYI - I ended up getting $42.5 back on $150 Uber gift card purchase (3x$50). 15% cashback + $15 cashback on $150 Uber gift card (via Westpac lounge) and also and addition $5 cashback on $50 gift card purchase (again through Westpac lounge - targeted maybe?). 28% off in total!
Thanks OP. I was after the AirBnB $100 cards listed in this morning's Shopback email but clicking on the link takes you to a page saying to come back in 3 days for 8% discount instead of the advertised 6% for today. Am I doing something wrong?

Just FYI on eBay gift cards, you can only redeem $1500 (without promo code) in 1 transaction, or if you use a promo code, redeem only 8 GCs per transaction. Just got caught out on this.
So with promo code, you can still redeem gift card, provided less than 8 are used, even if greater than 1500$ in total value?
Nah, you can only redeem max. $1500 in 1 transaction, so if you have 8 x $200 GC, that wouldn't work.

You could just buy a $10 UE gift card using your Westpac card to get the $15 bonus. Just note the $10 UE gift cards are only 2% cashback. Other option would be to buy another $50 UE gift card at 15% cashback.
Whole amount has to be paid for by your westpac card.

Hey mate, gift card details can occasionally take a short while to come through from the brand, usually not longer than a few minutes but on occasion can be a little longer. They technically have a 48hr window to load in the details, though it's very rare in my experience for it to take longer than 30 minutes. Let me know if it's still yet to come through for you and I'll ask our team what the go is :)

having loads of trouble with using IKEA gift cards. Do not recommend.
What are the issues? Doesn't work or GC limit?
A long story but I'll explain:
Basically they take up to 48 hours to activate, which isn't great in itself. However, it turns out that if you add them to an order, then back out and modify the order, they are effectively tied up with that order for up to another 48 hours. This means that if you want to check if they are activated (by adding them to an order), they may become unavailable again should you not proceed immediately with the order.
I don't think there is a limit to how many you can use. However, once I had been trying to get this to work for a while, I got a nondescript "error occurred" message when trying to add them (for all cards), and I think I got rate limited because I tried with a hotspot (different IP address) and it worked.
Overall I wouldn't recommend trying more than 10 at a time, I just think the system is too likely to fail and then you'll get rate limited and won't be able to keep adding cards (not sure if it will let you check out at this stage).

If you're just using a few it should be fine though. Would recommend waiting until after the 48 hour period without trying to use them at all though first.
