What are you on about? Drop one size down with no sound bar and grab the TCL mini led for abit more than the Q60B
That's a pretty big compromise. The q60b is fine. It's not the greatest but it's good at this pricepoint.
I’ve had a 65 inch one of these for 2.5 years and still find it perfectly fine. Sure a $2-3k TV is going to be better but I don’t think it’s worth spending twice as much on.
The price for a tv at least that size should already tell you it's entry level / cheaper tech.
For people like my folks who previously still had LCDs from early 2000's or CRTs, this would be more than enough, especially since I've pushed for OLED OR QLED and they don't really tell the difference besides it being "more brighter"
No point spending more on something that's for 30% casual youtube/netflix use with the rest of it's life as home decor
These are Samsung’s entry level TVs. Why would you expect FALD or OLED in an entry level lol.
They have to market entry levels too of course, what would you like them to say?
At this price point, Last November and December had oled less at the 1.5k mark for a 55 inch. I would sacrifice size for picture quality anyday of the week.
These aren’t 55inchers and these have soundbars included in these prices though. I understand PQ as I personally wouldn’t buy these also myself (I only own LG OLEDS at home) but your comparison is not fair at all. :)

Like think about the low quality of a cinamas? People still go, its not because of the quality.
Do i regret 65'' OLED (Own), or 85'' QLED, i think i prefer now the bigger screen.
I just realised that, i dont even spend majority of my time on the couch watching things.
Its honestly counter productive, the ones that can offered the crazy priced for quality can not even have the time to sit and watch.
My wife and family watch the TV most of the time, and i can definitely say, size matters

Edge-lit LCD in 2023? Yeah, the size is there, but it even worser than full array , mini led and oled. Samsung think they can fool people with crystal led marketing. Nothing crystal about the display.
