      yeah,mine did about 6 months ago when i was purchasing a TV.
      Get a price match and try it, worse that happens is you don't go through with it.

            @deecasey22: They initially said that they didn't have any TVs with a damaged box in stock. I scripted a response and told the person to send to their boss and get me a TV. And they did, and they did. So I got an undamaged box TV in the end.
            Moral of the story, don't expect the person you are talking to be anything more than a polite chatbot, and tell them exactly what you need to them to do.
            Alternatively I would just get a refund, and make use of current specials which beat out most damaged box ones

              @akbal: Thanks @akbal opened a case on eBay and rang the 1300 number. Supplied all requested details and the Sony rep who’s dealing with it has agreed to request a return and refund based on the photos supplied. So far a streamless process.

    If you do what I did and just return the unopened Soundbar as I didn’t need it, you get arguably the best TV out there for just over $4k.

      Hisense $500 tv, still strong 10years later
      Sony $4k tv, died after 5-6 years - customer service was hopeless/inexistent. Never ever, would prefer buying LG if not Hisense

    Explains why JB's put the SN4 soundbar up $100 yesterday.
    Anyway I tried to see if TGG would price match the LG 65 G2 and the SN4 soundbar that comes to $2787.65 at JBs. Best they could do was $2959 and they didn't know how JB's could sell that low.
