For those who use sniip to pay your bills, I've just received an email telling me about what appears to be a generic $10 off voucher on your next bill payment: JANUARY2023

I can only assume this code is valid until end of January, but once you apply it to your account you can use it anytime up until January 2024

How do I receive the reward?

  1. Log into the Sniip app.
  2. Tap on the top left menu.
  3. Tap ‘Rewards’.
  4. Enter the code ‘JANUARY2023’ and tap ‘Apply’.
  5. You can now add the reward to your next bill payment!

How do I get $10 off my next bill?

  1. Tap ‘Bills’ in the lower menu.
  2. Select the bill you wish to pay.
  3. Tap ‘Pay’.
  4. Choose your payment method.
  5. In the Pay screen, turn on the toggle that says ‘Use Sniip Rewards’.
  6. Your reward has been added and you can proceed to pay your bill!

EDIT : New expiry date 1 Feb - make sure you pay a bill by then!!

                @excusemesir: Could be that the random referral code you were assigned is expired. Unfortunately you can't generate another one before a certain period.

                  @CVonC: I've tried quite a few codes, granted all the codes were entered via the sign up page. But even codes that were sent to me by other ozbargainers didn't work. Guess it's just me.

    oh wow. Uninstalled Sniip after the Amex deal and completely forgot about it. Installed it again today for this and was surprised to see a referral bonus of $10 valid until 2031 sitting there already :)

    Thanks for the heads up on this. I have used Sniip in the past but hadn't logged in for a while. Discovered I had $20 in referral credit that I never knew about. Now I have $30 with this code :)

    manage to sign up the code from an old account but these guys have rules like KYC need to verify before to pay bills. they are in full force to stop people getting bill pay with promo now. by the time verify and all these bs the code will not work anyway as comments.

    luck for those already pay before the block

    do these guys business operating like zip pay? survive on fees pay on bills I assume

    I’m not sure if this has happened to anyone else, but the redemption period for this discount appears to have changed.

    It said in the Sniip app for me this morning that I had until 31 January 2024 to redeem this discount, but I just checked the Sniip app again and it says Valid until 01 Feb (and I presume it means 01 Feb this year).

    I have $10 reward sitting in my account.
    I do not know how did I earn it.
    I have a $50 water bill. How can I apply this $10 reward to my bill.
    I prepared my bill, selected payment method (credit card), press next.
    The system requested me to confirm the payment.
    I cannot apply the $10 reward.

      You basically click thru right towards the end and there's an option to apply your credit

    Paid a bill on 30/01 just before I saw this post, thought of paying an additional amount just to bank the $10 reward.

    But held off, knowing that I have another bill to pay on 02/02, the bill came, but reward expired on 01/02.

    Then tried FEBRUARY2023, no go. :D

    I could have sworn this reward was not going to expire until Jan 2024.
    I went to pay my Feb bills hoping to use the $10 reward, and I see it is expired already. Gah!

    Has anyone tried contacting customer service, and if so, did you have any luck?

      They said I was not entitled to the discount. That was a perk for Sniip customers who spent a certain amount.

        I can tell this is definitely not true. at least our end. one family member offered for not used the account for some time. target is random that end up the code is seems generic.

        It would be allow anyway if there isn't too much code used at an instant. they shut it for whatever make up excuse to stop further lost from too many people get $10 off bill.
