  • whats the average cost to have a unit installed in Sydney for example?

    • 2.5 kW to 4.6 kW (+$757.00)

  • Wow awesome price!

  • +2

    shipping $91.67 :(

    • +3

get shocked further when they email you saying apparently freight is higher, and it is like $260 something, (but company happy to pay little for shipping but only if you also pay more for shipping aka jacking delivery price when they cannot manage their pricing system).

    • +1

That's an annoying breach of advertising, I live in Wollongong (a pretty major city in NSW) which they say is FREE SHIPPING. Enter my address and its $91.67. Absolute BS, this post should be removed for false advertising.

  • Any installation fee? Would be take the old one away?

    • +3

If you could find someone to supply and install an airconditioner for $599…. let me know lol.

      • what's the installation fee normally cost.

        • $757 (2.5 kW to 4.6 kW) on their website.

          • @ddhytz: Any web-link?

            • @tech-u: same link as the op's above, below the price: "Request Installation" where you could choose one.

          • -1

            @ddhytz: What a rip!

  • Appliance Online price matched it to 655 ( 599 + 56 delivery fee) for me and later back saying Out of Stock. However, available for preorder and delivery in March

Some MHI or Mitsubishi electric deals would probably get better traction.

    • Not for the same price thought.

  • The same company who doesn't honour their pricings online

  • Purchased 5.
Let's see if they honour the order.

    • +2

      Fulfillment status: Unfulfilled
      :(

      • Why did the OP bother listing this if they wont honour your order?

  • +1

I am going to get them installed @ $450/each.
Back-to-back, use existing power point's power, ground floor.

    • Not bad. For that price I'd not have bothered doing it myself.
Needed a hose-pair, ducting, isolation switch, vacuum pump, manifold gauge, and a bloody big drill if you have a double-brick wall.

      • Any warranty claim requires an elec safe cert

        • +4

The electrical part is trivial. It's the refrigerator part that requires a small amount of skill, and likely to cause grief. I take responsibility for my own work. You have to ask what the warranty is worth to you. Anecdotally, most faults within warranty period are for bad install jobs.

    • Who are you using for installation?

      • Please PM me.

  • +1

For that size unit, people in QLD(Brisbane) seem to be charging $900 to $1100 for install. Back to back, on brick veneer or weatherboard, timber frame house and existing electrical.

    • +1

Really that expensive now. I'm in brisbane and moving house soon and most probably (depending which house) have to put ac in a couple of rooms back to back. I'm Not looking for fwd to it now.

      • +1

I remember paying around the $500 to $600 mark 4 years ago for a 3kw unit in the same house, same installer. Got a few more quotes this time and all were in the same price range. Ended up going with the same installer - did a good job, and accepts payment by Amex :)

  • Is this made in Japan?

  • Really surprised by its average energy rating 7 stars…
And with Wi fi ?? And super cheap
