    My Heymix chargers have been working fine for 3 years. I bought a Cygnett PowerPlus to use because of everyone spouting the fire hazard, but 6 months later that was the one that nearly caught fire instead. Gone back to my Heymix lol

    Majority agrees these are sh*t or worse… Can someone recommend a brand that the general populous would deem acceptable? Anything with single/dual USB-A ports that is not $50000 from apple etc.

    I had some heymix ones and the coil whine was insane but appeared to work…never the less they have been catalogued.

    I picked up some qualcomm(https://www.amazon.com.au/Australia-Charger-Qualcomm-Portabl…) to replace the heymix ones. Any thoughts on these?

    I mostly use them for powering ~5v usb things.

      I have a few of those Australia Charger ones and except one (which came with a loose USB-A plug) they've been plugged in for the last 2+ years without any issues.

      That being said, my experience is anecdotal and I don't think this brand's QA is better than Heymix, or any other white labeled stuff. I now buy chargers from reputable brands (Anker, Belkin) and I will probably replace these cheap chargers with better ones when they (hopefully safely) fail.

      Replaced all the qalcomm(which i noticed are made by the same place as heymix) and other white labels.

      Now I've got a mixed bag of white label wall chargers if anyone wants them cheap. ha ha.

    Bought another model from this brand and it got burnt while not being used (attached to the power point with cable on). Good thing was HEYMIX provided refund when I wrote bad review on Amazon. They said something must've happened during delivery that compromise the product (yeah sure). They were so nice though, even offered to send another one for free, but I politely refused lol

    Runs very hot. One died pretty fast. However they replaced with a new double pack pretty fast without hassle. So far okay but still runs hot

    Do any reputable brands make a USB-C PD charger in this size and shape? Got a 45W Anker but it would be nice to have one of these flat compact ones sitting in the travel bag. Don't care if it's only 20W with a single port…
