Just a warning, call quality is very iffy. Sometimes its OK, but quite often, the call is very echoey for the other end.

However, noise cancellation is phenomenal. Makes the over head WH1000 XM3 and Bose QC I used to have redundant.

Ear comfort is pretty good (you may have to mix/match for best fit).

Its a tough call whether this is worth more than the Sony WF 1000 XM4.
XM4 has better call quality but not quite as good noise cancelling…though perhaps the sony is a better all rounder until Bose fix up the call quality issues.

If call quality is your priority, you should just use Airpods Pro 2; they are definitely heads and shoulders above all competition.

Can confirm - sound quality is excellent and the noise cancellation is phenomenal

Just got my pair. I'm very impressed.

Noise cancelling is outstanding. Can't wait to use at gym

      • I've been using mine in the office - I've had to create a mode that reduces the noise cancelling because I'm oblivious when people are talking to me.

The volume required to listen to music is so much lower than my Galaxy Buds I had!

I reckon the ANC is on par with the (over-ear) Sony WH1000XM5s

          • @sponson: Not a bad achievement! I picked up a pair of WH1000XM4s a few weeks earlier for my PC and I think the QCIIs are as good if not better in regards to ANC.

  • These always look to me like they'd just get knocked out all the time.

So this may be a good comment thread to ask - what's the smallest, considered decent, TWS earbuds out there? Don't need ANC or calling. Just small, good sounding earbuds. Must take Comply tips too.

Not sure about smallest, but I recently got a pair of Soundpeats H1 and am very happy with them. Good sound imo, passive NC is more than enough for me. Comes with Comply tips in addition to the 3 pairs of silicone tips.

Got these as an upgrade after owning a pair of Soundpeats TrueEngine SE for 2-3 years. The old pair still works fine (very decent for the $50 odd I paid) but I just keep them in my work bag now for audiobooks and stuff.

Ps: If you don’t like the shape of H1 check out H2 which uses the same drivers but in the more common format (with stalks). No Comply tips in the box with these though

Bought these when Myer had them for $344 in October, I use them for flights and confirm the noise cancellation is top notch, ear fit is great too - solid. My Ipod pros are a joke in comparison. I got them as previously I had the wired versions, and again noise cancellation on them was great. Best Christmas present I've bought myself for many years.

  • Are these good for running? They seem no smaller than the QC I earbuds which are annoyingly large …

  • What is the battery life like?

    • +1

I haven't run mine until they're flat but I've done a 3hr flight plus an hour or 2 of on/off usage prior to the flight and they were fine. I think the 6hr run time claim they make in the marketing is accurate, if not conservative.

  • I've heard bad things about the app that comes with these. Any opinions from the fans here?

    • App is fine. Better than the Sennheiser app that’s for sure.

      • Ah ok, thanks. It's just that I have a Bose speaker, and the app for that is atrocious. Cheers.

  • Just an FYI these are the same price at Myer currently. With the 15% extra on all all Myer Gift cards currently at Coles, makes it a pretty good deal.

  • Have Bose noise cancelling improved much since QC25?
