  That reference says "32GB max, DDR4 2133, two 260-pin SO-DIMM sockets, dual-channel capable". Does the 2133 indicate that it wouldn't accept this @3200?

    Your M700 will take this SODIMM stick without issue, it will simply downclock the module to 2133.

    This is the same for adding slower memory to a system with faster memory, it will force the faster stick down to the slowest capable memory module.

    DDR4-2400 or DDR4-2666. This deal is DDR4-3200. Don't ask me what that all means.

    I've never had a situation where faster RAM didn't work in a PC that only allowed it to run at a slower speed, irrespective of what the other posters think.
