  • Steam oven can be used to steam veges?

  • Better than half price. And the toast review looks promising.

    Can it fit a ham?

    • +3

Its a small toaster oven, which takes 5ml of water to produce a little steam. So no.

Is that a regional thing? Upstate New York?

Good lord what is happening in there?!

From last deal, I bought it @ $29, just a bit of steam to make the bread a bit soft inside and toast outside, I don't use my toaster anymore.

Can't fit ham, not for steam veges

    • Would you recommend it? Is it much better than your normal toast?

Would you recommend it? Is it much better than your normal toast?

For $19 I would recommend, a lot better than my normal toaster.

It can also heat up other bread, croissant, cheese toast, etc.

Because of the little steam it made the bread soft inside, toast outside.

@Soapdroid: Just to add it's pretty great. It makes really nice toast and revives older bread really well. I also roasted carrots in it. Great buy for $19 if you can still find one!

    • have you tried baking bread in it?
if yes, how did it go? and what kind of bread/size was it?

  • is that flashing orange on top warning when in use

That is for water to create steam, 5ml water .

      • You can create about 500mls of steam with 5ml of water due to the Carbonaro effect.

  • Is this for sourdough?

How does this compare to the steam deck?

  • A 'steam oven' that is apparently is no good for steaming stuff? What is this bizarre tomfoolery? Can anyone who has one give a few examples of things it can cook well, apart from toast?

      Sliced bread

        Hong Kong style bread

  • Serious question :) - I usually just add a few droplets of water on the toast before I put in the toaster for the darling daughter. Would this gadget make that much of a difference?

You have to try, mine better than just toast.

    Sounds like landfill

$19 for a small oven and works great with or without steam.
