  • Look exactly like the one from cygnett, probably best to buy multiple units as you'll always end up with one or two with inconsistent performance.

    • I bought a bunch of these last year and most of them have failed. The question people have to ask is whether it's worth the hassle of getting the sensor set up and the automations connected to it only to have to mess around with it again in a few weeks/months.

  • Does anyone know if I can add this to the Ikea Traffic gateway? It's ZigBee, but not generic, though some have success with non-ikea ZigBee items…

    • *Tradfri gateway. Not "traffic"

  • +3

Can this be used with a Philips Hub?

    • No. Hue hub will only pair Hue products.

      • +1

That's not quite true, you can add Ikea bulbs to the Hue hub

  • Hrmm would have been nice to have the Tuya AAA battery version. I have two of them and they seem to be pretty stable. Battery life is also a bonus

  • Looks like it requires Tuya

    • I don't see where it says that? Zigbee can be used through Tuya as long as you have a Zigbee gateway.

  • Should plug and play with SkyConnect dongle for home assistant folk?

    • Can't see why it wouldn't

  • is it possible to setup for the lights to turn off if no motion is detected for x mins rather than immediately.

    • Can't comment about this specific device however usually motion dectectors by default have a predefined e.g. 60secs, 90secs, etc from when motion is no longer detected to it changing its state.

In turn one could delay the lights turning based on the state changing or by adding extra time i.e. when state changes to off then wait 120secs before turning off lights. Comes down to what you use to manage the device and it's compatibility with your bulbs.

  • Keep up the Zigbee / home automation deals @Clear - you are nicely helping me build out my Home Assistant implementation!

  • Did anyone receive theirs? I just received a package that was an envolope: contents "motion sensor" but contained a pain relief patch. Probably because i just got burned :(

    • apologies in advance, but that is funny i.e. a "Pain Relief Patch". Who ever put that inside has a sense of humour. Let us know if it works and if you feel better. How strange though!

  • I'm having trouble getting them to pair with a ConBee 2 using deCONZ in Home Assistant. Anyone else having issues?
