Thanks. I think EOFY sales have come to an end earlier this month and this deal is still good unless there is a cheaper one elsewhere. Besides, HN will not offer this price now.

  • You can get it from dell for $1 more..

    • The one on dell webSite for 699 is with i3 and 500 gb HD.

No, the one on dell site for 699 has i3, 2gb ram and 320gb hard drive. The one with 500gb hdd and 4gb ram is for 799

I say its about alright. Not mega-super-deal, but its fine (prices for specs like this are around this price). thanks.

  • So not a deal .Its suited for the price.

  • upload the receipt please

  • the 3rd gen intel cpu ones are $998 so this price is just normal.

Well its not even on jb website then.

        • Please check again - it is very much listed on the jbhifi website.

  • It is. Have a look at http://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers/dell/14-inch-notebook-sku…

I don't why it is listed for 799 while the I store price yesterday was 860 after reductions.

    Please be sure before negging!!!

nr, Its good to see people posting their first deal. I am not negging just because its not on the website, im negging because its not a good deal.

      Advice:
Post a link to the actual product when you submit the deal, there is a place for the product URL.
Posting a link to a couple of reviews is also good and listing the full specs.
Also the next cheapest price you can get the product for.

Processor: second generation i5 (what speed???)
      HD: 750 GB (what RPM??)
      RAM: 4 GB (What mhz??)
      And the rest??
      Optical drive:
      graphics:
      operating system:
      etc etc

And proof its not a good deal: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/75509
